Your crowning/memorable moment for 2003.

My standout moments (for theme parks, anyway) were my california trip with my mom, girlfriend and sister, in which we visited Knott's Berry Farm (which was a fantastic park) and SFMM (also great, made the cross country trip from FLA for X...Worth It!!!!) And my trip to CP which is my favorite park-great rides, and the ambiance is great-whole trip was for MF and TTD. two most memorable moments.
My favorite moments were being two trains away from riding Two Face at SFA before it got stuck. My other favorite memory was getting off TTD after a 45 minute wait, then some guy comes up to me and goes...hey, your my retarded son, don't say anything at all. Then he pulls me through the exit of TTD, gives the ride operator a piece of paper, and I got right back on TTD. I got to ride it twice in a matter of like 3 minutes. :-)
Upon arriving at the airport, after the Coaster Zombies Ozark Coaster tour, unloading the bus and watching the participants tearfully saying goodbye to eachother........

that was the big payoff for the hardwork I put into the trip.

My most memorable moment would have to be waiting in line for TTD, about half-way up the ramp to the station, and seeing that blonde girl in the front row of the returning train "reorganising the contents of her bra", and everyone giving her a big cheer. :)

Best ride of 2003 would have to be The Jack Rabbit at Seabreeze in Rochester, NY - great little coaster.

Best single day in a park would have to be at Canobie Lake with my buddy Tim and his family - his kids had never been to a park and had the time of their lives.

The whole season at CP was great too.

Happy New Year everyone!

I'd have to say my most memorable moments in 2003 are:
  • Attending SRM for the first time and all the positive things that happened. (I agree, the walk out was instensely eerie to be able to hear a pin drop.)
  • The BeastBuzz walkback (Winning that Bat press pack was pretty cool too!)
  • CoasterBuzzCon's ERT, then hearing people ask where we were coming from as we walked out of the S:UF area.
  • Getting my first ride on TTD in the front row! What a rush!
  • Celebrating my birthday with Gemini's at CP (the big 2-5!). If I were only born one year ealier, we'd share the same year too.
My most memorable event of 2003 was merely seeing TTD launch. I waited in line for three hours and spent another hour watching it launch and then rollback. Launch over, launch over with people in the train, rollback, and so on and so forth. Also getting to ride Millennium Force again after a year wait, there is nothing like it.

My first Fright Fest was pretty cool, and at my homepark (3 1/2 hours away) at SFStL.

My wife's first ride on Magnum. She was terrified of it two years ago, and suspicious of it most of last season. During Halloweekends, she braved it. White knuckles up the lift. Screaming with eyes shut on the first drop. Laughing uncontrollably on the bunny hops. Running around for a re-ride immediately after buying the commemorative photo.

I'll make a coaster lover out of her yet!

Its got to be my first trip to Kennywood. it was a lot of fun, but the memorable part had to be getting in the car and turning on the radio to hear all the reports about the blackouts all over the East

or i t was my first 2 rides on TTD *** Edited 12/31/2003 8:02:32 PM UTC by falcon89*** *** Edited 12/31/2003 8:05:43 PM UTC by falcon89***

My first ride on TTD ride in the front seat. Also riding it more times during Halloweekends. Also Millennium Force at CP. It was one of the last rides of the night. I hadn't been on it since 2001. Last would be Phoenix Phall Phunfest for the second time. It was a great year.
Also, eventhough it's not coaster related, going 24 hours without power in my Hometown, Brooklyn, NY. HAd alot of fun that day with my friends and seeing how alot of us New Yorkers stuck together. I never thought there would be lines outside stores just for ice on that day.

The future is in your hands!
1) The anticipation of PKDs opening so I could ride Drop Zone!

2) My first ride on Drop Zone

3) My trip to SFoG!

Both of my crowning moments from 2003 as far as coastering goes came at PKI.

1) Riding Delirium
2) My first skycoaster experience, what a blast

I had a few. To begin with, I must say that going to Knott's Scary Farm for the first time was a highlight. Along with riding Xcelerator for the first time, I can't say that I had a bad year coaster wise.

However, I found nothing more exciting and happier this year than taking my prom date to Wild Waves/Enchanted Village in May for our day activity. We all had a blast, even though we were so dead by the end of the dance that we couldn't party afterwards.

Both Blue Streaks and TTD in the same day.

1902 (LtD) to 2003 (TTD) in the same week.
