Id like to know what you think your park may do in the near future based upon either facts known or what would just make a good marketing move?

Here are my thoughts on what might happen at close to me parks in the near future.
HW. A Sally Dark Ride, Possible Carousel, Longterm Possibly another woodie or a Anton :)
PKI, A renovation of the Octoberfest area (Not necessaraly based on Octoberfest though) Possible 2 flatrides and a Mouse of some sort.
SFWOA, Development of the east end of the park (Wildlife side)
CP. They got something up their sleave. But I have no idea what WT IMHO is just a short term marketing ploy.
Kennywood, Could a 4th woodie be possible? I would love it!
Chuck, sharing some thoughts

I do not subscribe to the Wicked Twister "marketing ploy" conspiracy. I think its what they needed so they went for it. I think at the Point, the next "big thing" will be in 2004...and I am praying for the B/M Flyer :)

I can fix anything.....where is the duct tape?
My hunch is that Knott's will "upgrade" one of their dark ride attractions for the 2003 season, and yet another one will be "removed". In 2004, that "removed" attraction will become a "huge" Intamin ride. ;)
SFMM will perform a *major* rehab on X during the off 2002 off season, one that will have the ride running perfectly. I say look for another ride to be "re-painted" red, white and blue. The flats will finally show up in 2003.

Excalibur Crew for 2002!
What are you getting at DWeaver?
KOD is one of those, but which one? The removed one?
But which Knotts dark ride will be replaced with an Intamin Hyper/Giga?

One of my Homeparks is SFgadv and I think that for 2003 they are going to build a new Wooden rollercoaster in the forintear section of the park and theme it to be in the wild wild west type theme or they might build a whole new section. But im sure within the next two seasons Great adventure will open up a Hotel/resort and some type of new section for the park becuase as of now every section of the park is very crowded/land locked or has a small area to build on so they defintaly need a newer section. I can also see the stuntmans freefall being knocked down within a few years and a newer styel of freefall ride replacing it.
SFEG-I can see them adding/removing a few flats in the next five years, and maybe after five years looking at another coaster. Unless they do eventually get the land from Ocean Journey in which case I can see them expanding over there with another coaster in the next 5 to 10 years.
Lakeside- I can't see them doing much except rebuilding some rides and renovating some buildings. They just don't have the budget for anything big.

My best guesses for:
1. Cedar Point - They'll fire Richard Kinzel and name the dippin' dots employee of the month for August new CEO.
2. Six Flags WOA - They'll finally get their hypercoaster passed through city council by making the mayor ride on the Raging Wolf 'Kabobs' repeatedly in a bra and lace stockings until he gives in.
3. Kennywood - They'll re-vamp the Old Mill by replacing the skeleton mannequins found throughout the ride with newer, life-sized likenesses of Joan Rivers.
4. King's Island - Tomb Raider will actually be a re-creation of Disaster Transport at Cedar Point. The King Kobra will be re-sold to Magic Mountain so that they can solidify their coaster lead over Cedar Point.
5. Busch Gardens Williamsburg - They'll break up the Drachen Fire into millions of little pieces and sell them for $25 apiece so dumb fools like us can own our own little slice of heaven. Next, a bald eagle will build its nest at the top of the Alpengeist and it will end up sitting idle for four years while park executives run around the park wringing their hands and saying, "what'll we do, what'll we do...."
6. Busch Gardens Tampa Bay - Will be closed down for the 2003 season after several prominent heads of state are appalled by Giraffe intercourse. The heads of state had included BGTB as part of their American Goodwill Tour.
7. Magic Mountain - Will premier a new Togo stand up with opening ceremonies hosted by, you guessed it, Frank Stallone.
I think you will agree these are just as entirely plausible as anything else you hear on this site.
