One of the names being kicked around for Morey's pier spanning GCI is wait for it

"Wildwoody"... LOL The other one I heard is "Boardwalk Flyer" which I like. It pays homage to the Hunt's Pier Flyer and doesnt have the silly double entendre', hopefully it will prevail.
Wild Woodie or however you spell it has been a rumored name for the last couple of years. It gets my vote!

Isn't this ride supposed to cross over the water between two piers? If that's the case, I think "Atlantic Crossing" would be a pretty cool name. I guess that would give us TWO (or more?) "ACs" in the coaster universe.
I don't particularly care for "WildWoodie, and not because of the double-entendre aspect. I just think it makes a very ambitious undertaking sound like a kiddie coaster.

Nope - there is no water between the piers in Wildwood. The sandy part of Wildwood's beach is easily 300 yards from the edge of the boardwalk to ocean.
Wildwoodie is a lame name though, Boardwalk Flyer is miles better.

Heck, they could just call it "What" as a complement to "It" which opens is season...

Been about three years since I was in Wildwood..guess I mis-remembered, despite dozens of visits as a young 'un.
Boardwalk Flyer is sounding better and better to me.

The Wildwood beach is so wide they hold soccer tournaments and monster truck rallies on it.
Your rental house on the beach block will be 7 blocks from the water LOL.
Since a good portion of it will be right where the old Hunts Pier Flyer once stood I really like Boardwalk Flyer.
They already moved Dante's and got rid of the giant slide in preperation for the new coaster. Here is an artist rendering

I like the Wild Woody name a lot.
I don't care what they call it. All I care about about is it's a GCI. ;)
Ok, I admit I like "Boardwalk Flyer" the best.

^CCI and S&S, respectively.
Mike wins the big prize for dragging in Harvey Birdman (although I'd have been tempted to use the Apache Chief episode, LOL).
I like Boardwalk Flyer, very retro. Wild Woodie? hehehehe - I get funny looks and all kinds of stuff when I say to people "yeah... so and so woodie." Then I remember most people don't call wooden coasters 'Woodies'. The whole anatomical part thing get very old though.

Ha ha.. dangly parts ROFL
Boardwalk Flyer is way less lame than Wildwoodie... that's just straight up stupid. I thought "It" was the worst name one could ever come up with for a ride, but I was wrong
