Xcelarator Restraints

I guess I should probably fess up as Sean and I have stetching this joke about as far as we can.  We *did* ride with lap bars up but only from unload to load.  However since riders never ride that portion of track we can say we got a full circuit ;-)

I have ridden between the two stations two.  But if I remember correctly, they checked our bars then.  Maybe if we had a nice op and asked nicely, they'd of let us.

It sure was fun while it lasted! To be honest, I thought going from station to station was pretty cool, even if the distance is short.

We are going to have to come up with another one of these "not really lying' types of things someday.

I was hoping I hadn't given too much away with my comment. But as Sean can tell you, when I rode the full circuit later that summer, they had us put the bars down in unload for the ride down to load. Then the producer had to have them opened again so we could change seats. We were wondering why the bother. :)

Dave - you didn't give too much away.  I just noticed this thread was close to dying and I wanted to set the record straight so no one thought we were riding in an unsafe manner.  It *was* fun while it lasted, tho!
