Worlds Largest Amusement Park - thoughts

I thought the show was excellent! It really captured the typical day of Cedar Point. Just being there last week and then watching the show was really cool. What did you think?

I didn't see the blueprints!
I didn't see them either
Not fair no!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where'd you come from, Where'd you go, Where'd you come from old man Joe.
Having never been to Cedar Point, I found that amazing! The question is, did anybody see those blueprints (rolled, open, whatever) that Jeff was talking about?

It was probably a rumor to see how much it would spread, like about the Gemini running backwards.
Yes, where were those blue prints?

I thought the show was really good, and am happy to know I'm not going crazy. I didn't see any blueprints either. I can't wait to go to CP on August 3. I'm from Fl and haven't been there since Raptor opened.
That is the first thing that came to my mind also. But anyway, it was a very well done show, neat to see everything that goes on there.

Life is a roller coaster...enjoy the ride!
On GTTP, apparently the P&D (Planning & Devolpment) was cut...with the blueprints =(
But, I'll tell you one thing... The special "The Making Of A Coaster" was the, or close to the best special I have ever seen. It was just the type of special I had been hoping for. I was captivated by all of the technical work that went into the surveying of the land, bending track, etc. I also thought the CP special was very well done. It just helped to show that the Point really is in a league of it's own, and it's really not fair to compare some other parks to it.

Come to think of it, I don't remember seeing the part about planning and design. Was it in the last five minutes? I had to take a phone call and missed it.

BMCOASTER: Where else have you seen the "same old stuff?" I don't recall seeing anything outside of POV on the previous shows. Said POV might have accounted for 5% of this show.

Check over on GTTP Jeff, Jeff Spartan seems to think they cut it :)
I think my new major is going to be engineering now, lol. Man, those two shows really psyched me up about the whole engineering biz. I think it would be so cool to get a job for a good company. Maybe even start my own! I was really pleased with the presentation for both!

Cedar Point is definatelly one of the best parks ever. It's not over-rated and if you think that, you really need to go! I had such a great time on my 2 day visit...even my non-coaster enthusiast family did. The next 2 days, we went to Six Flags Worlds of Adventure and decided it was no where as close to Cedar Point's stature.

I guess it's because I worked at a theme park for 8 years. I found most of it interesting, and I was surprised about the inspection of Meanstreak - I was surprised that they check out each part of the ride every day.
