Will SFMM get anything in 2002?

I wish that the people who decide on what SFMM get put more flats around the park. If you look at the Park Map, it is almost all coasters. Most parks it is tons of flats and few coasters. I like SFMM having lot's of coasters, but it needs some good flats from Huss and Chance so there are more things and more time to spend at the park.
The flats ARE coming...   ;)

I think they're getting a brand new type of rollercoaster ... ;)

Yeeee Haaawwww!
I dont know why all you you guys think that X will open in 2002, there is a slight chance it will, but I doubt it. Everyone thought Deja Vu would open next year, or never (lol) but it opened in August. There is still almost 2 months till 2002, and I think that problems will be fixed by then. If SFMM does get something for 2002...please please be some new flats and a woodie!
The flats are coming...  trust me.   ;)

Boy, I dont know about you guys, but Im convinced.  DWeaver said the Flats are coming so they must be.  I mean how can you not believe a statement like that?
The flats at SFMM are cool its just that thier old! Just 2 brand new ones could make a HUGE different.

Bottom Line is this: You think a park with 30 of the newest latest flats will be more succsessful than a park with a collection of 15 rollercoasters, some of which are among the top in the world!?

lol, I hope he is right, as said before, SFMM needs flats!
some more giant sculptures, like 'X'.   And some escalators for those damn hills.
First of all Magic Mountain does not get a new coaster every year.  Of the coasters built in the last 11 years they were built in there were only two occurences of getting new coasters in two consecutive years.  Also, this last year (2001) two large expensive coasters were built (if X opens this year...) so the chance of a new coaster in 2002 is slim.  But, if Magic Mountain is going to get a new coaster it will not be large and definetely not a prototype.  Revenues are down and six flags may just want to hold off on expensive purchases for a while.  But, 2003 will probably be a big year for Magic Mountain...something big I'm hoping.

Ummmm, it's not that funny anymore janfrederick and eveyone else saying "They are getting a totally new coaster design" or something related to X's opening date. It's childish. Who cares when it opens up? Would you want to go on X right now with all the kinks not workd out and other such things? Probably not. Better safe then sorry.

Is it really the Xtreme park ? I don't think it is. CP has them hands downs. And CP will do it again in 2002!!!

New suggestion:

All threads with titles conatining "SFMM" in the title will have the words "Cedar," "Point," and "CP," censored.  :)

Thank you ravenguy. It's always funny how someone will make up a user name just to make a comment like that. Give it a rest, SFMM has nothing to do with CP.

Hey...don't get me wrong. I'm not complaining. I was taking a stab at being humorous about the situation....what else can you do? That's just the way it goes. It's not the end of the world.

There is no need to get upset and accuse me of being childish. Me taking a jab at the situation doesn't even come close to whining about taking a jab at the situation. You can get off your highhorse now.

Sorry about the harsh words. Your comments were unnecessary.

Well then.  Someone always seems to ring up SFMM.  Anyways, who cares what they are getting.  It doesn't matter cuz whatever they get, people will e happy with it.  IMO, I think the only way SFMM can keep its head in the game is to add a ride every year, good, stupid, old or just standing there.  Thats only my opinion though so please no one hate me.
