Will SFMM get anything in 2002?

I have a feeling SFMM wont get anything for 2002. It might get some shows or some cheap thing so the park says that they still got something. It seems like the footers, or the track would of showed up by now, work for X and Deja started late october, so we might see something soon. Hopefully SFMM will get something, but 3 coasters last year, a huge one in 2000, it seems un likely.

Who cares!!!!

Magic Mountain already has enough coasters! The park got three new coasters this year. Isn't 15 coasters enough for one park? And what about the smaller SF parks, like Elitch Gardens? Their last coaster was a Boomerang in 1999.

Current Favorite Coasters:
1)Raging Bull 2)Millennium Force 3)Medusa (SFMW) 4)Vertical Velocity (SFGAm) 5)Dueling Dragons (Ice)

I would think Six Flags would start to develope its smaller parks such as: Elitch Gardens, St. Louis they realy nead a boost in the coaster department dont expect Magic Mountian to get another one for 2002.  I would think they may add some new flat rides.

Small parks like SFMW, SFAW, SFEG, have no room to expand, thats why SF is spending money on SFWoA and SFMM. If SFMM doesn't get a coaster next year, then I would definitly want a few new flats in the X and Goliath area's.

Didn't SFMM mention that they wanted the coaster record?  If that is the case, they'll build something.  But I'm going to agree with The Beast and say flat rides are on the way.

That is the "clue for the clueless".  In case nobody HEARD AdamFrank the first time.  SF wants to be THE Xtreme park, they're gonna have to ante up to get/stay ahead of CP.  (I'm placing a small side bet that after CP announces their new coaster(s), SFMM will get their plan together, so SFoG's Viper isn't certain anywhere else yet - how long would it take to put THAT up...not too long!).

I doubt that SFMM would get Viper, it already has 2 launch coasters, but I could see it in the Goliath Area.

Sounds like the same thing people said last year concerning a certain park in Virginia....

Up Your Nose With a Rubber Hose!

Your whinning about SFMM not getting new coasters??? I couldnt be happier with the new coaster at SFNE youve got the coaster capital over there!!
SFMM has two launch coasters? Where?

LOL! It's like a broken record, someone asks whether SFMM will get a coaster next year, and people react like SFEG and SFAW are the equavilent of the starving children in Africa. Give me a break, most of you don't even support those parks.

Coasters are not a right, they're a business decision.

To my knowledge SFMM only has one launched coaster and two shuttle coasters. That being Superman:TE as the only launched shuttle coaster at the park and Deja Vu is just a shuttle coaster.

Also just incase nobody mentioned it SFMM has put up fences behind Deja Vu and Psyclone. There is also a tractor back there like the one that started land clearing for the X site. SFMMs graveyard is pretty much cleared out, if you look at older pics of the graveyard compared to newer pics and you will see that the junk that was back there is gone.

Imo I think SFMM is waiting for CF inc. to announce what CP/Knotts is getting before they announce what they have in store. Also to my knownledge SFMM one was of the last parks to announce anything for 2001, they didn't announce until December 19th, of 2000 what they were getting.

Well if SFMM is getting something i don't think it will be huge or a prototype. Hopefully SFMM has learned not to build huge prototypes in hopes of opening it in such a short period of time. But then again this is the Xtreme park were talking about so if they are getting something next year no telling what it might be. Haill for all we know it could be the first 200 foot wild mouse lol.

New for 2002? How bout X. That's when it will finally open, if it ever does...
Don't be so sure. SFMM surprised everyone when they opened Deja Vu, back when people thought it would "never" open.

I'm pretty sure six flags will get a new coaster for 2002 to keep on top. I just think its kind of pathetic just to build a coaster to keep a record. I rather have quality over quantity anyday.
Sheesh, MM just got three coasters this year, what more do you want? Some people are geting a little greedy i say. There are many other parks around the country in more need of something new than MM. I think SF has spoiled you MM people.
Ya'll are hilarious, with the people seeing us in Los Angeles as spoiled.
GIMME, GIMME, GIMME!!!
If you ask me, SF will be putting much of their resources next year into getting a good chunk of the $2bil debt out of the way. We will see new coasters, just probably not the biggest fastest most inverting coasters you've seen.

I am not being greedy, I am just used to SFMM getting coasters, so I just wondered if it was going to get something, gosh!
