Alpengeist is definitely fun, fast, and worth waiting an hour for! You'll know for sure once you see it and ride it!

An hour?? I was there on a Saturday and waited about 5 to 10 minutes for very back seat. Front was about half an hour, but didn't want to try it because of how spoiled we got with AC walk-on's.
Anyway, It's a real great ride, and I love the cobra roll. When I saw that twisted drop from AC's lift, I knew I had to ride it next! Top Gun will be my #1 invert thoguh.

Was the drop 195 though????

No the drop is 170.
Alpengeist is the largest of the B&M inverteds.  The smaller ones (Talon, Great Bear, Batman that I have been on) seem like tighter, sportier versions.  Alpie seems a bit too expansive to me. Sort of like comparing a large Cadillac's performance and feel with that of a smaller, sportier car.   Can't beat the theming of Alpie, and I would never not ride it, but I do like the smaller ones better.

Yea Alpie is the Suburbans of B&M Inverts, while Talon is the VW Beetle of B&M Inverts!:)

I have ridden every B&M inverted in america except for the Top Guns, one Batman counts as all. If you want to get technical all of the B&M Inverteds on the est coaster except for Top Gun and SFoGs Batman.

Any-way. I don't see why people think Raptor is better then Alpengeist, it isn't it just isn't intense like Alpie is. Talon is the only other B&M that comes close to it. The Dragons are good yet too small and fast, I can barely remember any of it.

Alpengeist is easily the best B&M or rollerocoaster I have ever ridden.
