Who has been on Alpengiest ?

I was just looking at some pics of it on RCDB, and It look pretty cool !!

Is it fun,Fast, and worth waiting an hour for ?
It's my favorite Inverted coaster. the only other one I've been on is Batman @ SFMM.
The best parts are the huge inversions.
It is definitely fast, fun, and yes, worth waiting an hour for. What it lacks in intensity it makes up for in sheer size. I found it to be quite enjoyable, especially the immelman and the two twists after the brake run.
the only other inverted coaster i rode better then it, is montu. it was awsome, but if u sit in the back u hit your head a little on the cobra roll. and it was very very very very well themed. *** This post was edited by CoasterSaurus on 8/14/2001. ***
Alpengeist is definitely fun, fast, and worth waiting an hour for! You'll know for sure once you see it and ride it!
I never liked Alpie. I ride it, but don't think it is all that. I would only wait 40 min. I had some head bangin' in the Cobra Roll. I really don't like inverts anyway.

My favorite Coaster is named after Poop, and I actually like Boomerangs! What is wrong with me?
I rode Alpengeist on my trip touring the mid-Atlantic USA for coasters, and I would have to agree that for what it lacks in intesity it makes up with sheer height. But still that wasn't good enough to push it past Raptor for being the best inverted coaster I've been on.

Alpengeist just didn't have enough "umph" to it with intensity and it just seems slowly paced, but like I said it does make up for it with that big drop and big loops.

Alpengeist is definately worth waiting an hour for, but I've never had to wait that long.
I go there once a week but the longest I have waited is 1/2 hour a great ride I once ode it 7 times is I one day.

True of all great coasters of the past and present, and future
it's a ride you'll remember for the rest of your lifeand probably will want to ride again.

Alpengeist is definitly a great ride but I find Top Gun @ Carowinds to be a lot better. My fav. at Busch Gardens is Apollo's Chariot.

I rode it in 1998 and 99 and had a max wait of about half an hour. I liked Alpie better than Raptor save for Raptor's finale. The theming is great too

By far my favorite invert. It's all about the super Gs on the cobra roll.

It's a great coaster...I'm surprised they haven't installed brakes before the cobra roll...that thing is fast!

Alpie is da bomb. i have been all all the real acclaimed B&M inverts such as Montu, Raptor, Deuling Dragons, Talon and various Batman's. Alpie is the best of them all except for Montu which is incredible. I love alpengeist pace, the height of the inversion, speed and intensity. the ride is flawless.

yeah montu and alpie are B&M inverts at their best.
