My name is Jim, I am a 30 year who just loves to ride coasters and every single ride in the amusement parks. I am very pro Cedar Point and for many reasons, too many to get into, my fiance hates roller coasters so I am usually going solo, even though I would like her to ride, I accept her even though she doesn't like rides. Oh well. I am an inside salesman selling construction, boating, and industrial equipment and products. One notable I designed nets for the former Sea World Ohio to keep certain dolphins from other dolphins. I sold the cable to Cedar Point that is on their Sky Ride. Kind of interesting in a way.
Hi, I'm one of the living dead...sgonda, AKA Susan, age 54 (just!! 6/26). Yes, I can still totter my way into the parks and hobble onto a coaster or two without breaking a hip! Last year I did Medusa over 150 times. This year I just can't go on anything but Nitro, why bother! But after seeing that show last night and seeing "X", my bags are packed!!!! Anyway, I have two kids, John and Jessica, and my first grandchild is due 7/30. I live at the Jersey Shore and I love SFGAdv; beachcombing off-season; taking photos, especially of the decay in Asbury Park; seeing Patti Smith at the Stone Pony; NYC, the Village, Tribeca, and Soho; selling on ebay; Bowie, Patti, REM, Bruce, Marianne Faithful, Loreena McKennitt, the McGarrigles, Leonard Cohen all do it for me musically. I work for the State of NJ, Div. of Vocational Rehabilitation and we help people with disabilities find/keep employment. Disabilities can be physical, emotional, drugs/alcohol. Nice rewarding job. It's so weird to be old because I still like doing fun stuff and probably always will, but once I hit 25, the time flew by so fast, it's unreal! That's all.

Life is a Great Adventure!!
I'm Mike, I just graduated from law school but am not yet employed (still have to pass the bar exam). I'm 25 and originally from St. Louis but have lived in Portland, OR most recently and just weeks ago I moved to Columbus, OH. I love music (Phish, Grateful Dead, String Cheese Incident, funk, jazz and most things improvisational). Other than that I like to S.C.U.B.A. dive, hike, drink and travel. See you on the coasters.
LOL, this is an awesome thread.

"who needs drugs when you have coasters...they're like a natural high"
I ran >-CC-> too. I am not doing it this year. I did it in 8th grade. Crap it is hard. Helps out though when you have to run to the back of a park to get to the new ride;) >-CC->

Andy, 18, from Southern California, Senior in High School, born in England, moved when i was 11, play soccer, golf & tennis. Favorite roller coasters: Goliath, Batman The Ride (SFMM) and Viper (SFMM)..5'10", blonde hair, green eyes..anything else?
I'm Jeremy, age 25, from Huntington, WV. I work for the Cabell County (WV) Board of Education as a Computer Technician. I also own a small vending route, and I volunteer with a church youth group. In my spare time I manage a new and very talented rock band. My hobbies are reading, riding coasters, and professional sound reinforcement.
For now, my favorite coaster is the Beast at PKI, followed very closely by Apollo's Chariot ... but that could change after I make it to Holiday World. Camden Park is technically my home park, but I visit PKI much more often, even if it is 3 hours away.
I listen to a wide variety of music, including rock, alternative, techno, classical, and bluegrass.

Hi, we are 2 people, Angela and J.C.
We live in St. Louis, Mo. and are engaged to be married on September 29th. We are going to Vegas and So. Cal for our honeymoon and a trip to SFMM.
My name is J.C. (I do most of the posting, but she reads it all and adds commentary )and I am 31, 5'10" and 220. My favorite steel coaster is Goliath, wood is The Boss and I love stand up coasters! I love country music, Weird Al Yankovic, Tim Wilson, and Bill Engvall. I work in the Automotive sales division at Sunnen Products company, and occasionally drive a tractor/trailer over the road for Sunnen. I love race cars of any kind, the faster the better, and coasters are as close to racing G-forces as I can afford. We have a 3 year old daughter named Ashley who rode the mine at SFStl for the first time last month and said it scared the h*** out of her, but now is begging to ride it again(gotta start them young). I love my wife to be to death and enjoy riding coasters (among other things) with her. Now if I can only convince her that the world won't end if she rides X! :)
My name is Angela and I am 25, 5'7" (and I won't mention my weight). :) I love my daughter and my soon to be hubby. I just became a coaster junkie about a year ago when I for the first time rode The Boss and it scared the h*** out of me. But of course I got back on it with some help from J.C. and others and now just LOVE woodies. My major problem with coasters is that I have a very SEVERE FEAR of heights. But I will soon over come that. I will one of these days ride Milly and X. I love country music, some classic rock and pop. I am a student at a very BAD school (ITT Tech) for Computer Network System Technology (CNST for short). My hobbies include RCT, internet, Nascar Racing 4, and spending time with my family. My favorite woodie: The Boss/Screaming Eagle, steel: Mr. Freeze, and I still dislike hanging coasters (not inverted). More people need to post their age and maybe a picture, I like to know who I am talking with.
Thanks to all
PLEASE USE SPELL CHECK! Please

Just a couple of G-force junkies!
I am a 30ish year old Stay-At-Home Mom with 3 kids. One likes watching coasters and TV shows about coasters and one loves going on them. The 3rd? Well...he really loves spinning around in his infant seat. :-) Hubby likes coasters but isn't obsessed with them. He is glad our 10 year old likes them so he doesn't have to continually ride them with me. For our 15th anniversary this year we are going to Knoebels, Lakemont Park and Kennywood. Well.... he thinks we are just going on vacation in PA and maybe will stop at a park but I know I can finagle at least Knoebels and Lakemount Park out of him. :-)
I am in the Central NY State area so I am a few hours from SFDL and Great Escape. I grew up near Great Escape and still consider that my home park. Last year was the first year I ever remember missing a year at the park. But we have season passes for the SF parks this year so I will be making up for missing last season.
I am also a ride operator at the now defunct Gaslight Village in Lake George, NY. The closest ride we had to a coaster was a little thing called "The Dragon" that looked like a kiddie coaster but had a height requirement and was a bit wilder than it looker. It had quite the whip on it. I wonder what happened to it after the park closed?
Other obsessions of mine are music (too many favorites to list but Queen, Kansas, Barenaked Ladies and Great Big Sea are among them) and hockey (faves-Columbus Blue Jackets, Syracuse Crunch and whoever my favorite player winds up player for next season....hoping for Columbus.)

I was born in Queens, NY and moved to Milford, Connecticut when I was around 2 or 3 years old. I lived in Milford until the age of 11, when I moved down south. Fav. Wood - Wildcat @ Hershey Park (Would be Boulder Dash but never got to the park after we moved)
I know I am a little late in responding but here I go anyway.
My name is John I live in Florence Kentucky. I am about 30-45 minutes from PKI and 1.5 hours from SFKK (although I have only been once in my life). I am 16 and just got my drivers license last month. With my license I am looking for more and more coaster trips. I generally go to amusement parks with some of my friends whom are all obsessed with coasters also.
I am going to be a Junior in High School this upcoming year. I am dreading the end of summer because I have 4 books to read and a Pre-Cal packet for summer home work. I am on my schools academic team or "nerd" team as we call it. I am hoping to become an engineer after going to college. Who knows maybe then I will be designing some roller coasters myself. I work at McDonald's.
Last year was the first year I actually rode coasters, before that I was scared to death of them. However peer pressure and my friends talk got me to ride them, and now I can't stop.
My name is Lee. I am 13. I live in a typical bland suburb of the twin cities, my home park is a typical bland park, but it is could enough to spark a big interest in coasters. I have a 4.0, but I am not that nerdy. I play basketball and I run in track and Cross Country.
I am me.
