I'd considered Nitro the B&M strikes back, but you know something I don't know, then I'll keep mum.

i think it will be sfgam who will be the first park to have 4 b&m coasters. the rumor is that they are getting a flyer next year but everyone already knows this. sfgam gets a new coaster every other year and next year its time for them to get one. i really hope they do!!

I would have to say IOA
A dive machine would fit in perfectly in the Jurassic Area. Flying would also be nice but I can't see them doing it.
I don't claim to know anything but I have a thought...
I keep hearing about a new ride design from B&M being the next IOA/Jurassic Park coaster. I really believe this is true. Does anyone remember the contriversial new B&M patent?
Before anyone replies with "That's not a new type of coaster, It's just a new way of loading B&M fliers", I have descovered that there are two different new B&M patents. One is for the "new way to load fliers", and the other is for the new B&M 4-D type design.
I am too tired and lazy to show links; I sure it's not that hard to find yourself.
Some said in a previous post that IOA's new coaster may go both forward and backward. That doesent nessesarily mean a launched ride like a boomerang. The new B&M design goes both forward and backwards depending on if the track is above or below the ride vehicle. Maybe that is what it is.
My guess is that IOA will be the first with 4 B&M's. They will anounce something soon and they can construct year round. Then again, it seemed to take them FOREVER to build Unicorn and Storm.

SFGAm will be the first park to have 4 B&M's.
Year? 2003...

Everyone here does know. Due to promises, I just can't officially confirm it.

"I think SFGAM will be receiving a B&M Flying coaster next season. I really want it in place of the Whizzer. Yeah - go ahead and complain, but the Whizzer is getting near the end.
What proof do you have that the ride is "getting near the end"? It's only 26 years old .. which is nothing for a machine. The Scenic Railway in Melbourne, Australia, opened in 1912, and it's still going strong. Is Magic Mountain about to pull out 'Revolution'? Afterall, it's about the same age as Whizzer .. and Revolution is also in a nice area, full of trees etc.
There is absolutely 0 proof that Whizzer is getting hard to maintain .. and I don't care what you have read on the internet! Unless you can get the head ride tech at Great America to call me up and tell me "yes, Whizzer is hard/costly to maintain, it will not be around for much longer", I will refuse to believe it.
Plus, a nice hilly/tree-lined area can be created anywhere .. adult (or even mid-sized) trees can be purchased from many places, and I'm sure someone would even pay the park to take big piles of dirt. (Yes, I know that Six Flags would never actually do any landscaping .. I'm just pointing out that it is possible, and stompingly easy!)
Finally, Iron Wolf is also in a great tree-lined location too .. why not pull that down? I would say that Whizzer would be missed far more than Iron Wolf.
Finally, parks are in a race to have as many coasters as possible .. I would be highly surprised if Great America would simply pull one out (a popular and dearly loved ride, too). I would also imagine that it costs quite a bit of money to remove a ride, and we all know how much Six Flags likes spending money. My bet is that, if we do indeed get a new coaster next year, it will be a parking lot or gravel-pit coaster like all the other recent additions.
Cameron (Who is SO tired of these yearly "WHIZZER IS GETTING PULLED OUT .. I KNOW BECAUSE THE PERSON WHO WASHES THE DOG WHICH LIVES NEXT DOOR TO THE BUTCHER USED BY THE DAUGHTER OF THE LADY WHO DRIVES THE SCHOOL-BUS WHICH IS RIDDEN BY THE SON OF ONE OF THE TECHs, TOLD ME!!") Silver.

Yeah, everyone forgot to mention Six Flags over Georiga, who has the biggest chance of getting another B&M out of all the Six Flags parks since them and SFoT will be get the most money in the chain for some years to come.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, I'm talking about the Six Flags Finacial Review which says it all.
Oh, how about counting Magic Mountain? You have Riddler Revenge, Batman: The Ride, and Psyclone(at least part of Psyclone ) ;)

Vertigo, even with all that money SFoG is supposed to get until 2026, I wouldn't look for a coaster next year. 2004 yes, but not next year.
Either way, it's going to be an amazing time to be a SFoG or SFoT local. :)

Whoa that was pretty cool." -- Reaction to first flip over on X-Flight
Let me take you back to the year 1995. I was a ride employee on the Cajun & Power Dive. The ride ran great no one would slide down the wall, except for certain guests. The following year they replaced the matting and some other ride changes and ever since that year the ride went to crap. If everyone only new how the whole story to what happened to the girl it make things so much clearer.

"Cameron - I was just saying that SFGAM has been neglecting their rides and yanking them out rather than trying to repair them or keep them running. Haybaler, Sky Whirl, Power Dive, Cajun Cliffhanger, and that's just within the last 2 years.
Right .. and none of them are (were) coasters ;-)
Plus, there have to be dozens of Whizzer era Schwartzkopf rides still running, it can't be THAT hard to maintain .. while Sky Whirl was one of the last in the world.
Ironically enough, the brand new "state of the art" deja vu seems to be running far worse than the old and hard to maintain Sky Whirl ever did .. I wonder if they'll be so quick to pull out a classic old ride like Whizzer, for whatever the next fad is.
Lastly, the park does not appear to be neglecting Whizzer. They have been working on it since the middle of last season when the trains all got new (quiter) wheels. This year they have continued the refurbishment of the trains, and painted much of the station.
They would be NUTS to remove Whizzer. It's one of the few remaining coasters for kids, constantly has long lines (longer than Shockwave, Viper and Bull), and it's a great ride. Personally I like it far more than Shockwave and Bull, but I'm trying to keep my personal feelings out of this (which is not terribly easy..).
I don't know anything about what the park plans to do .. I'm just speculating.
Of course, Six Flags isn't known for making the best decisions .. So they may very well remove Whizzer and put some low-capacity technical nightmare in its place .. However if they do, I would bet quite a bit that most (if not all) of those trees will be removed, and the coaster will sit on a lovly pile of gravel.
