Which park will be the first have 4 B&M creations?

Actually, I believe a B&M flyer is more probable than a stand-up.

-----------------
Make it to SFNE for S:Ros and BDK!!!!

SFoG seems like it could have another B&M. Like someone mentioned, they have quite a bit of money to toss around. I also think that SFoG likes B&M ALOT considering our past 3 full circuit coasters were all B&M. Its hard to believe that only 5 years ago we had NO B&Ms. Now, there's 3. Im betting on SFGam though because i think SFGradv is getting a 4D. My top 3 bets for the first park to receive 4 B&Ms are:

1. SFGam

2. IOA

3. SFoG

on the DD debate... is the The Chiller 1 or 2? be honest. I say DD is one coaster., because they were designed together, have one entrance, and have the same theme.

Anywho. I'm still looking for the SECOND B&M at SFOT.

Texas Coasters... wow I'm lucky... IM me if you feel like talking about coasters.

CP!

Take it from a Michigan's Adventure fan, our park kicks butt!!!

SFoG might not be the first park to have 4 B&M's but it'll get there. I am especially optimistic with the clone friendly design of B:DK that one day one of those will pop up in Atlanta. If I had to guess, though, I would say SFGAm will be the first. For some reason I don't see IOA adding another huge attraction for a few more years still...

I think both SFGAm and SFGAd will both get their 4th B&M in 2003.

LOL :) LMAO :):)ROFLMAO:):):) That is coaster comedy, we've been argueing over nothing for like the thousanth time today!!!!!!

Nice going JAy Rider for bringing back a topic a topic from over a year ago and I was stupid enough to respond. I need a beer, oops, not at drinking age yet....ROFLMAO

Great Adventure got rid of a standup years ago (Shockwave, now Batman the Escape at SFAW). I can't imagine they'd get another.

The word "definitely" is definitely the most misspelled word on the buzz.

SFEG awaits The Flying Coaster-coming in 2002!

Yeah you've got me there. I have had an extremely rough week plus I just found out that I'm being seperated from my girlfriend by hundreds of miles. Nevertheless, I have been a sour crought recently and do need to lighten up.

Lake Compounce-So Fresh and So Clean Clean

I think it's going to be Great Adventure cause i believe they have a 4 coaster contact with B&M. B+RChiller, If there is any coaster company that comes to Expensive, it's B&M. There are strong rumors of a B&M coaster to show up cause of the massive expansion which is still a rumor. I would like a Flying but would stongly prefer a Stand up cause of their Extreme nature and Powerful look. But that my opinion of course.

-----------------

Parks are not locked into any coaster contract. They are not obligated to build a certain amount of coasters from one manufacturer.

Im going to grab a cold one! WHAT? Walk to my computer! WHAT? Turn the thing on! WHAT? Log on to Coasterbuzz! WHAT? I said log on to Coasterbuzz!! WHAT?WHAT?WHAT?

And why not? Magic Mountain also rejected Batman, the Escape for a bigger, greener standup.

Id say that Great Adventure and Alton Towers are as much of a testing ground for B&M as Great America. The B&M stand up. inverted, and hyper wer both Giovanola's concept, sold through B&M. Which is one reason why Nitro and Apollo's Chariot, and Silver Star are so much diffrent from Raging Bull. The first of every B&M coaster except for floorless and flyer were done with Giovanola because the concepts came from them. Giovanola does not sell their coasters themselves but with through other companies. Goliath, Titan, and Anaconda are the only ones they sold and built by themselves. Alton Towers has Air and Six Flags Great Adventure has Medusa, the only two coaster concepts that B&M came up with and built by themselves.

How did B&M take this stuff from Giovanola? Please explain, Batman at Great America was the first ever invert and Raging Bull was made before Goliath so I don't see how they copyed off Giovanola.

Booker T and Goldust at the Movies:"Thats right you suckas better find someplace to run, cause its me Booker T. Not only am I the Scorpian King, but im the 5 time WCW Champion, and I got a sword too. Now can you dig that Sucka!"

Problem is Alton Towers only build a major coaster evry 4 years, inbetween they open a family orientated ride, a spin'nspew, and other amenities. 2003 sees a new hotel/waterpark, 2004 & 2005 will see new family/barf rides, SW6 ain't gonna be till 2006.

Just like perfection, floorless...needs no correction, floorless...like no other, floorless... absolutely floorless. The Ones.

Batman was the first ever invert.

Let's not get into the whole B&M/Giovanola debate. If I remember correctly Giovanola did fabrications for B&M or somthing along those lines, but I'm not 100% on that.

And where did you hear this? If Giovanola had the power to build Goliath, Titan and Anaconda, then what stopped them from building the other coasters?

for giovanolas american operations (goliath, titan and so on) B&M fabricate their track. for B&Ms european operations, giovanola fabricate their track. as simple as that. a simple case of i'll scratch your back if you scratch mine!
Vertigo, what are you talking about?

1) SFoT and SFoG getting the most in the Six Flags chain? Both of those parks are definitely up there in ranks, but the three largest Six Flags parks (SFGAdv, SFMM, SFGAm) will most likely continue to get the most money dumped into them.

2) A floorless and stand-up will never exist together in the same park? How do you figure? Just because it hasn't been done yet doesn't mean it won't. The only reason it wouldn't happen is because B&M have shifted away from stand-up coasters to their floorless concept. The track designs are the same, yes (but so are the inverted and flyer tracks!). However, that has nothing to do with it! Now, a floorless and sitdown B&M looper would be odd, yes...but not a floorless and stand-up.

3) Neither Busch or Dorney have any sort of contract deal with B&M. That's just plain BS.

4) Giovanola had nothing to do with the actual concepts of an inverted, standup, or hypercoaster. Heck, the hypercoaster isn't even a concept of B&M's, since they'd been around for along time before AC and RB came along. The reason Raging Bull is different from the other B&M hypers is because it's very site specific; SFGAm wanted a hypercoaster fit in that space, and that's the design they came up with due to the fact that an out and back just wouldn't fit.
