I_l_t_g, I sure HOPE you're wrong...B&Ms are fun, reliable, and appeal to a wide range of tastes....
However, it's a *bit* out of hand down here in the Beemer showroom, and a nice new CCI or Intamin would certainly broaden our coaster-horizons...(coasterizons)?...;)

You can't spell S:UF without UF....Go Gators! Let the pretzel loop tie you in knots...
Coasterdude, I agree...There is no way SFoT or SFoG are the top moneymakers
I know for a fact, because I remember seeing a top 20 list for parks who made the most money, and SFoT or SFoG were not in that list. I remember that all of the disney parks were at the top, SFMM was somewhere on the list, and SFGradv was the only seasonal park on that list. Unfortunately, I do not remember where to find that list.
secondly, SFoG I doubt will be getting another coaster next year, B&M or any other manufacturer. Not only did they get S:UF this year, but didn't they get Deja Vu and something else last year(correct me if im wrong)???I also doubt any parks will be putting in Stand-ups, as many complain about them being uncomfotable, and other coaster types are newer, and perform the same elements(notice I said most complain, me personally, I like stand ups).
Im not too sure about whether or not SFGam will be getting a coaster, but if they are, I think it might be a B&M. GRadv will IMO put in a 4-D. Hey, a B&M flier or a 4-D, cant go wrong either way.

My favorite thing at Six Flags Over Georgia is the GIANT Pretzel.

AC?, RB?, MF?, DD?, PR? Who can keep track of it all?
Well, there was an article online a couple days ago (don't have the link, and don't want to post the text here due to copyright schtuff) and it said something to the effect of...
"Later this summer there will be an announcement at IOA for a super-coaster. They are thinking of three different ride systems, including one that goes forward and backward."
Whatever they decide, we'll find out later this year. But I'd bet my money that they ARE getting a coaster in '03. Whether it's another incredibly fantastic B&M, well that remains to be seen.

I was surprised to see SFGAd before SFMM.
Why, we whoop them constantly in attendance...by a considerable margin too.
That's the way I understood it as well. SFGAd is one of the better Six Flags parks that I have been to.
However, I have not been to Magic Mountain though. But from what I can tell, Great Adventure is a bit more family orientened than Magic Mountain(Looking at their attractions and layout)
I believe a more family-oriented atmosphere is the key to the future of amusement parks

for giovanolas american operations (goliath, titan and so on) B&M fabricate their track. for B&Ms european operations, giovanola fabricate their track. as simple as that. a simple case of i'll scratch your back if you scratch mine!
B&M does not fabricate any track. In Europe, as you said, Gio does it. In the US, B&M doesn't. Why would a Swiss company set up shop in the US for just one small part of operations? They are consultant engineers, not fabricators. Some Ohio company does all the fabrication. Does B&M even have a factory? It wouldn't make sense, Intamin, B&M, and Gio are all in the same city (or close to), aren't they? On Gio's website, they show all kinds of Intamin rides, so I assume Intamin doesn't have a factory. Intamin knows they don't need one, they have one avalible to them right there. So, why would B&M think different and build one of thier own? So, what was it we were talking about? ;)

Ride the New England Bush!
I think Six Flags Great America will be the winner for the 4th B&M. (1) Inverted, (2) Raging Bull: Steel Twister (3) Iron Wolf: Stand Up, (4) Mostly likely maybe a B&M flyer. Could Great America get something like Air at Altown Towers?
