What's the scariest ride you've ever been on?

Getting dumped out of the Mondial shake at the Ohio state fair about 5ft scared the crap out of me, not to mention hurt like H***

I still got a purple thigh from landing on the rotor mechanism. Didn't they think to put a brake on the flip mechanism?

Chuck, who says there were 5 people manning the ride to help people out but none came over on that ride.

BTW, The ride rocks, It's called Magnum at the OHIO State Fair

Drop Zone or any drop ride for that matter scares the ever loving crap out of me. I don't know what it is but they don't suit me well.

Drop Zone get's me the worst as there is really no perspective to tell how high you are.

-----------------
The Beast and Night, They go together like Peanut Butter and Jelly

1. Millennium Force (Just so huge!)

2. X-Flight (I thought I was going to fall out!)

3. Demon Drop (I didn't know when we were going to drop.)

-----------------
If you like Wicked Twister in the back, does that mean you like to get screwed in the rear?

Probably the Magnum the first time that I rode it in 89. I can remember thinking " What did I get myself into?" as we went up the lift hill.

I have overcome my fear of hights for the most part now and no coaster scares me, but was a little scared the first time that I rode Power Tower.

-----------------
The worst day at Cedar Point is better than the best day at work.

1) Drop Zone, Supreme Scream, Acrophobia (drop and tilt!)

2) Millennium Force, Sky Coasters (height)

3) The Beast (helix gets me every time)

Drop rides and launched coasters get me every time and although I like being scared, I much prefer rides that are just plain fun! I think Tower of Terror, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, and California Screamin' have a great mix, so those three are among by favorites anywhere. X and Xcelerator look pretty intimidating though!

X is scary the whole ride. It's so confusing while your riding it.

Well to answer the other part of your question....

I never had even a slightest clue of what was in store for me when I hit Big Dipper at SFWoA. I said, looks small, maybe some nice ejector air. Back breaking first drop, back breaking second drop, up to the lap bar airtime, holy jeez!

X-Flight spooked the very first time I flipped over. I couldn't believe how hard you were being pulled on the harness.

Ripcord at CP even though I have been on tow skycoaster and they didn't scare me that much though.

wow...you ppl get scared on alot of things. when i first came back to the US in '99(my dad is military), i was 12yrs old and anaconda @ PKD scared me. in '00, i went to SFA with a friend and superman scared me to death. after that, i was ready for anything. to include what i had been on after that, here is an idea:

PKD(volcano, hypersonic, FoF, shockwave), IoA(incredible hulk and DD's), CP(MF, raptor, magnum, mantis, WT, etc.), BGW(Alpie and Lochness, AC was closed :-( .......and batwing @ SFA

for some reason, i sorta dont get scared. a little nervous, but not scared. although, i do agree with others here that the skycoasters are pretty freaky. even though PKD's doesnt pass 200ft, it seems higher than MF when your looking at the ground the way you are ;-)

#1-MF #2-S:RoS #3-WT

Countdown to Extiction at Animal Kingdom before they turned it into Dinosaur. I Don't know what there was about it but it scared the crap out of me. My second would have to be Rock "n"n roller Coaster(First Looping/First Launcher) and last but not least Steel Force(First Hyper).

"Enjoy your voyage to the sun on the wings of Apollos Chariot"

Drop Zone at PKI and Son of Beast the first time. I was looking down the hill and I was scared as crap.

-----------------
(Former Signature replaced due to bad joke with accident) The Beast at night-Two peas in a pod?

Going over the top of the drop on MF, it felt like we were just gonna keep going over. It sure felt like more than 80 degrees, that was kinda scary. Drop Zone is also kinda scary since you never know exactly when you're gonna go. But dangling from the top of a Skycoaster looking at that bullseye on the cement 150 feet below definitely tops all.

-----------------

while I was riding it, Lazer at Dorney scared me more than anything. I have never come so near to losing conciousness.

Before riding, Millenium Force without a doubt.

After riding: Space Mountain. It was my first coaster, and before I got on I didn't even know it was a coaster.

"With half my brain behind my back to make it fair."

The scariest ride I have ever been on is Tower of Doom. The scariest coaster is probably ME at SFEG. It isn't scarey but the first time I went on it I wasn't a enthusiast so it was scarey. Now it is just fun! But Tower of Doom still scares me and I love it!
For me it was the launch side of power tower. The drop side didn't really bother me (actually its real fun) but the launch side scared me senseless. MF was scary but not as scary, it was more fun than scary.

Are You Ready!?

Ooooo I remember how scared I was on Dinosaur. Especailly those T-rex's. I don't knwo why but it's like those two seconds that you forget it's just a ride. Same with Wicked Twister. What made it scary for me in the back is that you think that the train might just twist off the end! You know it never would but for those several thrilling seconds, you feel like your gonna die!

If you like Wicked Twister in the back, does that mean you like to get screwed in the rear?

First coaster (GASM, SFOG)

First Looper (Mindbender, SFOG)

Deja Vu the first time

Acrophobia the first time (Welcome to the top of Acro...*drop*)

The "RipCord" sky coaster at Cedar Point.
