What's the next CF removal

Ok, guys, to be fair some members HAVE been a bit harsh on the kid.

Not that he wasn't asking for it. And the multiple accounts (going to far as to claim they're not the same person when we can CLEARLY see they are -- and yes, it's even easier for admins to tell) is just the icing on the cake.

Or is that syrup on the pancakes? I always forget...

And that will be gluten free for you on those pancakes. ;)

Next CF removal - coasterkid85, timberman85, JustMePlease85, timberman125's Season Pass!

I think when a new account signs up and the FIRST post is defending trollishness, it KINDA stands out...I looked at the second profile, saw the coasterkid addy, and knew I'd come back when I could to see some fireworks while munching popcorn...

Not sure about the next CF removal, but I've got a fiarly good guess at the next CB removal...or am I too late, and just "predicting the past". If a non-admin can glance at a profile and KNOW it's the same person, you've done it WRONG... ;)

Poor kid (was he like in his 20s?). We are a little harsh on new posters. I don't know if there is any way we could encourage new posters to take their time and figure out how Coasterbuzz is run, and what is expected of them. How could we FORCE them to read the TOS?

Maybe the TOS could be condensed?

I don't know if I/we are really that harsh at first. Most times when a noob doesn't come in playing things right they usually seem to get a kind "welcome to coasterbuzz, please read the TOS" post. I've seen some of those folks turned into respected posters. But if things don't improve, like in the case of this "kid", the gloves slowly come off after continued bad behavior.

On the flip side I've seen noobs here that come in "behaving correctly" welcomed with pretty considerable warmth.

Some pople get it, some don't! :)

Speaking of pancakes -- is that photo of Jeff's stalker that has all of the CBuzz products still floating around anywhere? That was a good laugh. :)

Oh and I want my pancakes with extra butter and MAPLE syrup.

I have no basis on which to say this... It's just wishful thinking on my part...

BUT... I'd like to see Laser go bye-bye at Dorney and see a nice new GCI (With M-Flyer trains) rise up in its place.

I really don't want to see that happen but I am afraid Laser will be gone soon for that reason. It's old, not that popular compared to the other steel coasters (it can still get a 20 minute wait on crowded days but that is due to horrible capacity with the slow lift hill and almost always 1 train operation). If they need the room for a GCI (if the Screamscape rumors are true), I'd at least like to see it re-located elsewhere in the park which shouldn't be too difficult since it's portable.

Remove Laser?

Calling for the removal of a Schwarzkopf looper?!

Blasphemy. Lord knows enough of them are gone, surely you're not suggesting yet another goes bye-bye.

I personally think Laser is an excellent ride and would hate to see it go, but the realist in me thinks its days WOULD be numbered in the face of future park development.

Unlike Hercules (sorry Jeremy ;) ), that's a loss I would actually mourn.

I still think if there's a coaster there I wouldn't miss...it would be Hydra...LOL! Cool pre-lift inversion, and then more of the same-old, same-old...

Of course, the "re-Schmeckification" of T-Hawk would make me happy there if nothing else EVER happened. But do leave the Anton! ;)

Laser? Now didn't coasterkid tell us that was going to be moved to MiA? And Timberman confirmed that X-flight was going there also.

Seriously, this has gotten too funny. Playa you're making me laugh so hard I'm afraid I'm going to pop a hernia.

Since the multiple personas aren't working for coasterkid, perhaps he should try a different approach. Maybe a new book with OJ. "If I really did it and if coasterkid and Timberman are really the same."

And coasterkid, that isn't water under the tree. It's from when I took my dog for a walk earlier.

I hate to admit it, because the thread has absolutely no roller coaster or amusement material within it, this is actually one of the most exciting thread we have had in a long time! :) *** Edited 12/20/2006 7:51:28 AM UTC by DantheCoasterman***
Yes, I've been keeper of the MOJ for the last year, but all my Minivan-mates left (or are at least scarce these days), so I was riding solo :) I apologize for being kind of invisible in this thread, I was busy roasting away in the Hypersonic thread and missed that most of the action was over here until it was too late to join the rush ;)

I'll second the nomination to get rid of that POS Laser for some GCI "goodyness". Maybe once Valleyfair's has a successful season under it's belt the planning process will be underway ...

--Brett, saying don't worry, it's all water under the tree!

IF Dorney doesn't want Laser they can send it my way. I loved that ride when I visited DP.
Laser is the most intense Anton left in America, Run as it should be. To bad I can't say the same for Thunderhawk, In its running condition IMHO they should sell it to someone who'd treat it with kid gloves.

Thunderhawk, and VF's High Roller, are two of the most *promising* wooden coasters left from the old days - both of them could make SERIOUS noise in Mitch's poll, *if* they were run properly and taken care of...

Considering what's going on at GL, is that a ray of light I see at the end of the tunnel? Could be...

The way I'm seeing it, CF does a good job of bringing in outside people to "rehab" their wooden coasters...perhaps a little more of the day-to-day type stuff would help too... :)

Personally, I think Laser is a yawner. Actually, I think that about most of the vaunted Schwarzkopf coasters. In this day and age, they are good "starter" coasters. I, myself, was started on the now twice defunct Jet Scream (not to be lost is the fact that my household nickname is "Jet" and I did indeed "Scream" ;)).

Herc, on the other hand, actually *did* things, IMO. Herc was unique, whereas Laser is not. When you got off of Herc, liked it or not, you would remember that ride. Laser is...forgettable (putting it kindly). I dunno, aside from the shuttles and Big Bad Wolf, all the other Anton coasters seem awfully alike to me. No *one* stands out. But maybe y'all like that sort of thing.
