In Russian, it would be a "Screaming Moose and Squirrel."

Rob A and Matt, Once MM was open and some people started TRing there was a mix of pos and neg (mostly neg) comments on this coaster. I've also talked with people while queueing for Thunderhead and they talk MM down. That's where I come from when I state "one of the few". It's great to see more positives!
I'd say the general consensus is that it's a wonderful attraction. I'm hearing rumors of cloaning it at SDC, so its very popular with guests. An issue that coaster fans would/could have about it - and it's my issue too, is that it stops a lot, the constant braking is kind of a let down if you're expecting Thunderhead or Tn Tornado thrills. It's not a complaint really b/c i think it's a masterpiece attraction, but if it were my ride, i would have done more with the coaster stuff while still having all the themeing that they did. With that said, the finale is one of the best coaster elements I've ever experienced. Other Eurofighters look like non-stop thrills - the one's ive seen (haven't riden any others) they lack the 'dark ride' stuff...and i would imagine less braking throughout the course.
They spent 17.5 million on it, and the average Eurofighter is about 2 million, so you see that themeing was about 15 million...and it shows...it's probably one-notch down from Disney on the theming, imho.
I would describe it in general as Blazing Fury/Fire In the Hole (SDC), but updated in every possible way. It's as much a dark ride as it a coaster.
I will say that it's a better ride than a roller coaster, in the sense that it's a fun ride, because of all the theming, but without those elements it would only be a middling good roller coaster. All those stops and trims really do break up the coaster aspect of it.
Not dissing the ride. But as far as coasters for pure roller coaster experience, I would place Maverick above it, hands down. Probably Fahrenheit also, from the looks of it.

That's too bad.
I guess I'll just have to agree to disagree with the former poster but virtually everything I've read has been overwhelmingly positive and in the one day I visited the public response was incredible - long lines but big smiles, hand clapping, giggling, it was awesome.
I thought it was one of the most unique and fun coaster experiences I've ever had. The only complaint I heard was that the ride was a bit headbang-y/jerky but for me it wasn't super uncomfortable and most people seemed to really like it anyway.
