What the heck?

In Russian, it would be a "Screaming Moose and Squirrel."

Wow... Lift Hill: The Ride.

Too right! Too Funny! Too BAD!!!

I actually liked the K'nex layout better, but yeah, the ride in the pic looks like one lifthill and that's it.

Intimidator 305 the tallest most hated coaster nobody has ever ridden...

Even the lift hill's construction is a little odd. The steel looks bulky enough to support an interstate highway bridge but the track looks thin and flimsy.
I would much have a coaster such as these instead of a boring B&M dive coaster. Imaging a larger scale version of this. WOW!

Dive coasters are way overrated. way overrated

Top 5, in no particular order: 1. MF 2. Maverick, 3. Kraken 3. El Toro, 4. TTD 5. Superman Krypton Coaster Top overrated coasters: 1. Incredible Hulk (Boooooring!) 2. Nitro 3. Expedition G-force 4. Goliath(SFMM) 5. Any Dive Coaster
The transitions do not look so fun on this ride.

Bolliger/Mabillard for President in '08 NOT Dinn/Summers

Ld, that's the prevailing style for young women in most of the former Soviet republics. Unfortunately. for too many, it crosses the line from alluring into plain slutty. (can I say that word here?)

Overrated? I don't see anyone on here praising them as the godly coaster. They are fun, plain and simple.

My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.

Wow, looks like they have at least 6 or 7 cars on this small thing.
Remember, they almost built one of these at Hershey a couple of years ago. But a dispute with S&S caused that to get cancelled. It was going to be called Turbulance.

SROS:SFA The third hill owns you!

Ld is checking plane fare prices to...no wait, married, two kids, responsibility, you're going to turn 40 this month, they will mock you, can't do that...

Back from thread hi-jack, I have always wondered just what exactly this ride felt like. I can't imagine that they'd be comfortable, then again the one in China and the one in Italy don't have full horsecollar OTSR's and there isn't a good shot of the Russian one to know how their cars are but that ride IS rediculously short. The first two don't appear to have much in the way of lateral movement so headbanging is probably not an issue, but the Russian one DOES have that, uh, midcourse oval but I can't imagine it being taken at a good clip. Has anyone here ridden one of the first generation ones? Where the heck is Richard Bannister??

No. Hershey was going to add an Interactive Rides Frequent Faller, not an S&S Screamin' Squirrel.

Dude318 is correct.
I'm one of the few that actually enjoy Mystery Mine at Dollywood. My wife's favorite at this point (trumping Alpen Geist at BGE)! Both of us have a limit of 3 times in a row/for the day as we are both tall and overweight causing our shoulders to get cuts (shoulder seams on T-shirts) and significant swelling. With the introduction of the S.W.A.T. style seats on a coaster, I am curious to know how much difference it makes that the shoulder restraint is separate from the mid-section restraint in comparison to the overly-long OTSRs from Gerstlauer's Euro Fighters. I don't remember having problems with the separated bars on the Looping Starship at SFGAdv. *** Edited 12/6/2007 6:24:14 PM UTC by jshorerzd***
One of the few? I thought that thing was pretty popular? And fun?
Cool your jets, LD. :) Her boyfriend in all black looks like a wise guy-- as in starts with "m" and rhymes with "lobster."

Most people over there can't afford western-style clothing, and a lot who do-- well, you don't want to know what they do that they can afford it. Sometimes it's as much about showing status and your "connections" as it is about showing legs.

So anyway, I think I can fit that entire ride footprint on my deck. J7, I think someone took your signature line literally!

Wrong on both counts, I'd call MM *very* popular and *very* fun. ;)

Seriously, totally different rides. Eurofighters feature drops a little over 90-degrees, nicely banked turns, graceful inversions, and if you're lucky, super-extra-cool theming, too. I haven't ridden any of these S&S contraptions but they look just about as much fun as strapping yourself into a wheelchair and getting thrown down a flight of stairs.

Heh, I was thinking the same thing. Those S&S rides look like more pain than fun so I'm hoping Indiana Beach's coaster has a lot more to offer than weird stretches of upside-down track and abrupt turns.

Eurofighters on the other hand look like an absolute blast!

^^Speaking as the President of F.S.W.D.E.A. (Free-Style Wheelchair Diving Enthusiasts of America), I am offended by the comparison.

That looks a lot more painful than our sport.

;)
