what is your favorite darkride?

"Spiderman...Spiderman, does anything a spider can. Spins a web....." Actually I like MIB better than Spidey. Must be the interactive quality and re-ride value. I havn't really been on any other dark rides, but Mr. Toads Wild Rild was pretty cool.

Mine used to be the Pirate Ride at Cedar Point but it has since been removed. The Haunted Mansion at Disneyworld is perhaps the greatest dark ride ever devised. It has the most incredible visual effects you will ever see.
No one here has said anything about The Indiana Jones Adventure at Disneyland!! That is my favorite ride at DL or DCA! Does anyone else agree? Haunted Mansion and Pirates are cool also, classics!
Another awesome darkride that everyone failed to mention was the Calico Mine Ride at Knotts! That ride is so cool!

"Clear, Dispatch"
I have yet to go on a dark ride that I have not liked, with the exception of the smelly, crappy ones at the fair. Strings hanging from the "ceiling" and illuminated ghosts made out of sheet metal just don't deliver... I would be so thrilled if my home park got a dark ride, something like Pirates Of The Caribbean/Valhalla type of thing. Wow!
Buzz Lightyears Space Ranger Spin @ Magic Kingdom and spiderman at IOA ... two totally different Rides but BL makes the race because of the Arcade-Shooting-Fun
Space Mountain and Rock n' Rollercoaster.
Haunted Mansion at Knoebels and Noah's Ark at Kennywood.

It really all depends on your deffinition of "Dark Ride". While it is a GREAT ride, I don't classify Spiderman as a dark ride. TECHNICALLY it IS... however, there is no way you can compare a tecnologically advanced ride such as that against "classic" dark rides (along the lines of the old Pretzel and Travers dark rides). Its like comparing an F-16 jet fighter to a Sopwith Camel bi-plane... both the same animal, but vastly different species.

Enclosed rollercoasters or other enclosed rides I don't count, period.

I like the classification that Dark Ride Enthusiasts sight uses for dark rides
