Joe "thinks it's pretty obvious what CP is building next year...look at some CP fan sites!" C.
16 coasters, and the "supposed" record for most rides in a park but that already was debated.
oh you meant for 2006, my bad my bad, thanks folks, I won't be here all weekend. <badabingboomcrash>
Skol Vikings
Let's shoot us some deer Joe Joe!!!!
Screamin' Swing is fun and all, but the SWAT is the DEAL...a truly amazing ride, a thrillseeker's delight. But since CP got MaXair this year, I guess something a little more "tame" is the way to go for '06...
I know Houston's Swatter was troublesome at first, but it's been reliable since then AFAIK...won't somebody buy me one of those...PLEASE! ;)
We all know they'd be here if this was a SF park getting one....especially when another park so (relatively) close is getting one.

And BTW I may be called a SF Fanboy since I defend GADv when they deserve it ;)
Oh wait We weren't supposed to bash the blog as a clone were we? ;)
It just surprises me that Cedar Point would follow MaXair up with another swinging ride when it sounds like that didn't do much for their attendance (so far) anyways. Oh well, increased overall park capacity is always a plus and maybe it will liven up the back of the park a little.

The swings are PROBABLE but absolutely nothing is set in stone right now.
Joe "set that in stone!" C.
I took the picture off the blog and put it in photoshop and drew with the pencil tool over the obvious lines.
The top 2 pictures were "enhanced" which brought out some deeper lines.
The top picture has increased contrast, the 2nd was lightened quite alot and then the bottom one is what I could see.
The few red lines show what I would assume to be there other than that, all the other lines are what I honestly think is on the drawing.
It still doesnt look like much to me though.

Knott's did the exact same move (followed up on a swinging ride with another swinging ride), except on a more miniature scale version. They followed up the debut of the Chance Revolution 32 dubbed La Revolucion a year later with the world's first S&S Screaming Swing ride (8 seater version).
