Well if they did buy some farmland then they can get the woodie everyone wants. Just like Megafobia over in Europe.
I don't understand your question Everded. Cedar Point does not own any of Lake Erie. The 364 acres is actual land. You can continue to believe CP has a space problem if you want, but the facts are that CP has a lot of land for expansion.
And how come CP is the only park that people say has a space problem? Nobody every says that about BGW, which is 1/3 the size or Knotts which is 1/2 the size. And look at SFMM, they had to build Goliath on top of another coaster to fit it in. I think as long as a park (any park) has creative engineers, there is always room for more coasters.
I belive you are thinking of BGT when you say that a busch park is 1/3 the size of CP. BGW is about the same size at over 300 acres, though that includes alot of water and unusable hillsides.

Six Flags America IS a Six Flags park!
SFMM wanted Goliath as near the front of the park as possible, so it could be seen by traffic on the I-5. There is all kinds of space around SFMM, trouble it is all owned by farmers who realize that suddenly their land is worth a pretty penny, should the mountain want to purchase more land.
CP is a big park, no space problems there. Any coaster, any size could easily be put in without any problems.

Gotta ride 'em all!
If you want to see a space problem go to Morey's Pier...
