Hasn't anyone ever noticed, usually, the fastest way to get people do something is to tell them NOT to do it? ;) ;) ;)

I totally agree with you Intamin Fan and alot of other enthusiasts I have talked to think the same thing. I know a few people who have deleted there accounts or won't even post on here anymore because every topic seems to turn into a inside joke.

Oh! It's the "everybody's doing it" reason! I love that one!

It's funny, I see a few cliques on the site, but none of them really bother me. There's the West Coasters (and that guy with the broken shift key in Florida), the RCT "he rates my track files low" crowd, the Jeff sucks people (that clique has lots of turnover), the my Midwest park never gets anything new club (with satellite members in Texas), and the physics group, without whom we'd all still think Millennium Force could go 200 mph if they really cranked up the lift.

And you know what? Who freakin' cares. It's an online forum. It's supposed to be fun. If you don't get something, move on, as there are hundreds of posts made every day. Surely enough you'll find something else to read.

It's just like high school. My first day at the new school I made the innocent mistake of sitting at the wrong table. It was an uphill battle from then on.

So, on this site (and others) I have decided not to sit at any table. I just stand.

I Will Say One Thing. I Am Starting To Warm Up To That Guy With The Broken Shift Key. My Eyes Have Adjusted.

Well, if the *Jeff sucks people* have all the turnovers, they should send some to the guy with the broken shift key....he's hungry....;)

Ahh...I was wondering who"the guy with the broken shift key" was.

Anywho I-fan, if you want we can start our own group......the "We're fly and we know it" clique. We can recruit Derrick Whittsett and Sgrho ...LOL.

I only wish I had the wit of the CPGers. Instead, I most often end up as the straight man...er...woman. Which is also fine by me. Every funny man needs a straight man, and there are SO many here just ripe for the picking. How can the CPGer's resist??

Frankly, I prefer the fun, wit, and inside jokes much more than the redundant or "i just wanna see my name" posts. Yes, this is a site for serious coaster discussion, but not all of life is serious.

And for gosh sakes, this is the internet. It can be, and often is brutal. If you are overly-sensitive about anything, or a whiner, then maybe you need to spend a little more time getting used to the harsh real world. Get over it.

CPLady, who is getting friggin sick of all the politically correct whiners.

'Tuan....who IS that guy anyway...;) I've been wondering WHO Jeff might be *referring* to.....

....oh, and please notice that I decided NOT to use the word *allewding* because I didn't want to offend anyone....;)

Hey...don't mix us Chicagoans into that "Midwest Group", Jeff...We're part of the chosen who regularly get new coasters ;) ;)

What do we want to call our clique, Chitown? ;)

LOL Robo...that explains the lack of interest from the southern states. What about the rest of the US?

Well, it's a travel issue for some. I mean honestly, when was the last time M:TR was on the "circuit", making the rounds? And don't forget, with limited vacation time, people are going to go where there are a variety of rides first. If someone visits for M:TR, what other "attractions" are offered up? See......................... Perhaps it's time to expand and add a *drop* ride, as well. Any one with ideas for a few flats....................................

I'm suprised nobody has interjected yet:

"This thread has nothing to do with roller coasters and is stupid and should be closed. Jeff, please close this thread."

There, now that we got that out of the way... Continue as you were! ;)

[/obligitory fun-poking]

-John, who is finally starting to be affected by the offseason, or the lack of liquid water outside

Robo, maybe more people would visit M:TR if it had more launch options like the S&S Absolutely Insane rides. Launch straight up and then flip upside down, launch vertically and stay straight up the entire time, or a launch with a variety of strange flips.

Nah, gotta be pancakes... Preferably from Pamela's. (Getting back to the ORIGINS of the pancake reference)

--Greg, who's trying to figure out what clique he's even IN at this point. None of the above, but also many of the above. Argh, where's a cloning machine when I need one?
