Acckkkk!!!! If I am going to eat meat, its going to contain actual "meat". For the life of me, I cant understand how people can consume a veggie burger. If I want to eat vegetables, its going to be the natural kind. Why do people want to eat something that pretends to be something it isnt?
I had to go on a healthy, low fat diet for awhile do to a pancreas attack I had over a year ago. I never even thought of eating fake meat. I just ate low fat chicken breasts, lots of veggies, cereal, yogurt, etc., etc.

And no doubt Chitown while I don't eat pork for religious reasons (well used to be religious but it just offends me so much that I can't eat it now) I pile on all the other meat I can.

Yes...Morningstar Farms does make some fine *soysage* in links and patties....yummy!
soy, besides being an excellent meat substitute, has numerous health benefits...and I'd rather eat a soy corndog than some nasty tofu...

I got the card....thanks! Showed it to the "close coworkers", those that know me and indulge my insanity....how could life get any better...:)
Tofu can be good dawn....go for the firm (or even *hard* if you can find it, hehe), and then season and dry it in the convection oven....it's surprisingly good, this coming from an omnivore (man am I gonna pay for using THAT word, lol...:)
