Anyway, why can't we just all get along? where I come from, it's either soda or pop. You're choice.

Oh, and Hollywood actually sends actors out to the Midwest for accent training. Apparently, we're the most "normal sounding."

What surprises me is that TV shows are usually based in one of four places. California, New York, Detroit and Chicago. I always found it odd that Detroit is always up there more so then other larger cities.

Eminem isnt that bad. The crap they play on the radio is a joke but some of his songs not making airways are pretty hardcore and cool.

Listen to his group "D-12". Now they are a trip and funny to listen to.

I know Chitown which is what pisses me off about Eminem, it's all marketing. The best songs on everry cd that never get played on the radio.

I am not a fan or rap in the least bit either so I guess that may have somethign to do with it. Michigan's real musical gifts are Bob Seger and Ted Nugent who incidently lives not far from me. I used to play his kids in high schools sports, Ted woudl come to basketball games and such and we would all get his autograph. Mind you my school district had an enrollment of under 1000 people K - 12.

Did I mention I live in the middle of nowhere?

Actually there are lots of spin offs on creating Hotdogs.. ( For example Newyork has the Kraut Dog) But I think Chicago takes the cake on inventive taste and quality ingredients..

Yes duckboy. The middle of nowhere which translates in having a bunch of parks and I believe 40 something coasters within a days drive.

JoNo. Yes , I listen to hip-hop. I have been a fan of rap since I was 14(back in the mid-80's). I was listening to it before it was cool for whiteboys to like rap. :)

"Kurtis Blow, Grandmaster Flash, early RUN DMC, Beastie Boys, early Public Enemy, etc. etc.

I do like all types of music though. I am also into metal, alternative, some classic rock, R&B, house, hip-house, and also some other forms of music if a particular song catches my attention.
