Ha....I think not. Someone recently accused me of being CPNUT. I got a big laugh out of that one. Yes, I signed up to troll only to expose myself immediately after starting! It makes so much sense ;) I don't know about Moosh, though.... :)

A whole page and a half have gone by without a post from me? I hate when I have to do work at work. Argh. So, an observation, who knew there were so many of us who work on the administrative side of academia? Interesting. Hmm, not really I guess.

Off the coaster topic but on the college topic:
1) Out of touch faculty: 3 times over the course of two years I had to explain to the then director of Education how to calculate a student's GPA ("No... you don't just looked at courses passed. Failed courses DO figure into the GPA")
2) Whiny students: A student reported the wrong SSN and then actually threatened legal actions when he saw that it was on his records incorrectly... even though it was on his Admissions form, incorrectly, in his own hand writing.
3) Arrogant Faculty: Faculty forget to turn in their grades for the semester (all 5 sections of them) and can't turn them in because they have left the country on break and can't understand why this is a problem. Hmmmm... let me see... if I take their class, can I forget to turn in my assignments with out any ill effects?
4) Arrogant Management / Admin: I actually had a person say once... "Yes, perhaps Mr.Smith [not his real name] did it this way, and perhaps his way was better... but Mr.Smith is not here anymore. We will do it my way."

I think the pancake thing is hysterical and I hope it keeps up. I didn't spazz at all. You took it wrong. Read my post over, it basically says oh well I'm hanging out and posting when I want to (I've done nothin to get booted) and ignore the abuse or throw a little back ;) If I was so upset why would I have made reference to Waffles? I thought that it was kinda funny. Anway, the following are the quotes I'm referring to when I wrote "What's wrong with you people ..... blah blah blah. Here it is from like a page ago.
