I don't have kids. I'm not a teacher either. But, if I did have kids, I wouldn't want them reading about anal sex, oral sex, and everything in between at a young age, like everyone else has referred to in the previous pages. Like I said, in the company of adults, fine. There's a reason that you can't buy pornography at your age. Why do you think Howard Stern, South Park, and Wild on E! are on at the hours they are? For the ratings? Hell no. They'd obviously get better ratings in primetime. Ok, so you think you're ready for it? Campaign your local government or ask your parents to buy you a porno tape. I'd bet they'd say no.

That's the thing, Nasai. None of the CPG, who are being blamed [rightly so] for a lot of the tomfoolery on C-buzz, have ever spoken directly about sexual acts. We use word-play and double entendre to make jokes. Seems to me if someone is coming to the conclusion that we're talking about sex then they already have been educated on the subject.
If someone is so young that they do not know or have not been educated about sex, they're not going to understand those jokes we make that can be interpreted that way.
And while I'm on my soapbox let me address one other topic: people who are either new or infrequent visitors who don't *get* the inside jokes. Sorry but I'm not going to curtail jokes between friends just because someone doesn't get the punchlines. The fact that inside jokes exist in the C-buzz community is no different that any other community we deal with in daily life. Either accept the fact that you aren't going to always get the joke, ask someone to explain it for you, or stick around long enough to finally understand it and participate.
I was not privvy to the unfolding of Playa's MOJ, which has now become an inside joke. Because I missed the threads I really don't get those references. Does it bother me? Nope.
OK...end of rant. Let's get back to issues that really matter: pancakes!

Can't you comprehend that it is absolutely pointless and just ads less fun to those who don't participate in the useless conversation and the flaming that goes on. Some of us care about the coasters, and only threads that pertain to coasters, but even those get runover by idiots posting crap about inside jokes, even though they have absolutely nothing to do with the thread, and they aren't even funny in the slightest.

Family site it is indeed. As a matter of fact, I come to this site every night at 7:00 sharp with my mother, father, 3 brothers, 5 sisters, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. The reason we come here is to talk about roller coasters and I am appalled that you people can talk about such crude and sexual things when we should be talking about really big massive things, wood, and other such g-rated things.

CK - just goes to show not everyone will be pleased. Unless Jeff objects - and he doesn't - Coasterbuzz is not going to change.
You've been here less than a month and have made a whopping 21 posts. Doesn't seem like you're contributing much, just complaining. Why not give it some time before making a judgement? There is a lot of serious discussion about coasters on this site. If there wasn't I and many others wouldn't be here participating. The ratio of threads that are "hijacked" is quiter low, and I can name about a dozen active threads right now where good discussions are happening.
If you want a serious discussion, start a thread of your own and participate.
