What happened to Turbulence?

Wow, it's deja vu all over again twice.

Impulse-ive hopes they don't construct that monstrosity that will certainly "ugly up" the Hershey skyline.

Impulse-ive also hopes that IR goes out of business because he made that Navy: The Experience coaster nearly exactly in No Limits almost a full year before IR came online - idea stealing bastards!

Impulseive- also says he's cool enough that his third person references count triple, therefore making him ultra-mega-super-dooper-cooler than the rest of yinz. So nyeh. (and also apparenly can't spell his own name and is planning on leaving it there for comedic value).

Yes, Mr. seive, you are ultra geek...err...um...cooler than us. Oh, wait. What's that? Oh, you're from Pitt? That explains it...
Leno (a recent rerun) just craked a joke that because the price of steel has skyrocketed people were stealing manhole covers or something like that... take it for what its worth, but some relevant humor in the Turbulence ordeal
Tim likes talking in the third person as well.

Tim thinks that this will be interesting to see how it plays out, and is vaguely reminded of a post on dorneyonline the day after the suit was announced that a person claiming to be HP's owner said it would be announced later that it was all a big hoax.

Tim and everyone else on that board discounted it because of other outlandishly preposterous claims made in that post, yet a week later Tim reads this on CBuzz and is intrigued.

Tim knows he's not [yet] quite as cool as the other people talking in third person, but Tim is working on it (and was the first person to refer to himself twice in the same sentence ...twice...in this thread)

I just got an email from Hersheypark saying that Turbulence is indeed cancelled and that they will be installing Balloon Flight and Starship America where Giant Wheel used to be.

One of the girls had a cute little kitten named kitty-kitty, the other girl had a cute little puppy named Chris, and the third girl was a republican.

Shame on all of you!!
Seven pages now and not one of you has expressed any remorse as to what this will do to Lauren Holly and Ray Liotta's careers! They desperately needed the Media Day for the ride next spring to help revitalize their respective staying power in the upper echelon of Hollywood. Now thier publicists may dump them!
And all you folks can do is moan about how there will be one less coaster to ride next year. You know what? Wahhhhhhhh....

;)

What?
I guess Turbulence is the name of a movie starring those two actors...didn't bother to do a search at all though...

Haha no I'm not giving Patrick the finger

Um, after a decent performance in both "Identity" and GTA Vice City, I'd say Ray Liotta is doing fine.

BJ4Life is correct.
And I wouldn't exactly call being relegated to doing voice-overs for exploitation video games "doing fine". He recently was on one of those "very special episodes" of ER. It's really his career that needs resuscitation, stat! ;)

Speaking of GTA voiceovers, Axl Rose resorted to doing one of those. I guess that was higher on his list than finishing the world's most overdue cd ever.

LOL, Tekno! :)
I guess after a promising start in "Field of Dreams" and "Goodfellas", his future looked hot! Not to forget "Something Wild", which preceded both.
But by 1999's "Muppets from Space", all hope was lost.

Damn that Miss Piggy....

Ray just gave an emmy-nomination worthy performance as an alcoholic on ER this season.
I still think Ray's best role was of a talking hors d'oeuvres platter in "Hannibal"! That took some skill. ;)

Too bad that movie sucked.

If only they'd have been faithful to the book...:(

Ray is cool in person. He's so lighthearted and self-effacing. He'd be crushed if he read this stuff.

What is that I see meandering towards me, outstreatched arms?

A Zombie, is it? 'Why won't you die?'

;)

well, we are approaching Halloween, so it's only natural that the zombies come out.

*thinks*

there HAVE been a lot of them lately...
