Speaking of alcohol, do they have beer samples @ BGT and/or BGW, or do you have to pay for all you drink?
jeremy
---Hey Bartender! Joe-Boo needs a refill!
I didn't find any free samples at BGW, but $2.25 for a beer in a real bottle is nearly unheard of in any amusement park. I took down four Bud Ice's while watching the show in Festa Italia's amphitheater. I then rode Alpengeist and got a really weird feeling on the ride (beer and an inverted ride doesn't mix).

Wow is that right jeff $2.25 a bottle only. I paid
nearly $7 for a corona in pleasure island disney and have paid similar prices at other parks.

$7 That is Highway Robbery. I feel your pain. I don't think I could pay that much for a beer.

BMCOASTER

Not that my job supports any of my addictions very well, I am assistant manager of a bagel shop in Wrightsville Beach, N.C. where you can find me from just before sun up until a few minutes before sun down. For some reason, my job doesn't like to let me away very often, as the bills keep coming and growing not to mention past debts. I will spend what little $$$$ I do have on roller coasters, when the oppurtunity arises.......
This is really interesting!
I am a publications and web designer (among other things) for a seminary in East Tennessee. My husband and #1 coaster buddy is the promotions director for two East Tenn. radio stations.
You mentioned in another thread, xrae, that you were the only Tennessee buzzer - but I'm an honorary one, I figure, as my in-laws live in Nashville and my wife's from the area. My Pa-in-Law teaches at Vanderbilt.

Age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill.
Electronics Technician. Work on TV's stereos DVD's, CD's. Good thing about that job is I know what electronics are good and bad. That way I don't repair my own equipment...Gee I hope i didn't just jinx myself

On top of being a designer, I can make pretty coaster pictures! I also took 4 years of nude life drawing!
Good news, it looks like I will become the new LEMON CHILL man at Canal Park here in Akron during the summer. Go Aeros!

That's a very important job. You realize of course that you'll have the inside scoop to ballpark operations, player salaries and the latest scouting reports, right? The Lemon Chill Guy at Cedar Point knows everything they're doing.

If you take the brewery tour, I think you get two free drinks at the end.

I own the Plaza, Las Vegas Club, El Cortez and the Gold Spike casino hotels in downtown Las Vegas, where we serve beers and other cocktails to our guests free of charge while they play. If you want to see the cocktail waitresses again, we suggest leaving a nominal tip, but you can't beat a beer for fifty cents! Of course some people may argue that with all the money they are spending on our games, the least we can do for them is provide a free drink ;)
Sincerely,

Very impressive Jackie! You must be pretty well off which leads to my suggestion; build a monster coaster around one of your properties! Nah, just kidding.
I'm a full-time couch potato! (If there is such a thing) In other words, since finishing school in '97 been in odd jobs etc. I did a semester of Industrial Design at Uni but found it not to my liking.
I love coasters so much I want to design them. The only way is to obtain a degree in mechanical engineering which I'm not too keen on. One day...
Otherwise am aiming for work in the movie industry i.e. SFX and modelmaking. You can see how I've combined my passion for coasters and models by clicking on my (info). I visited Fox Studios Sydney last year and saw the props for Star Wars Episode II. Or my dad wants me to work with him in his jewellery business - boring!
In my spare time I fly radio-controlled model helicopters, sometimes tracing life-size coaster layouts! I'm the current Hirobo (Japanese R/C Heli brand) Australian Champion.
As they say in Aussie, see ya later mates!

An animator and illustrator. I have worked on Disney, Warner Bros., DreamWorks, Fox, etc. from a great studio here in Columbus called Character Builders. I am on my way to Florida, where I will join the Disney team full-time. Plus, I spend my spare time constructing models of rides. :)

I am an automotive mechanic (automotive technician is the correct term, or so they tell me...) in Pittsburgh, Pa. Five years employed and still going strong, as long as you can ignore the grease and gasoline fumes. I can't wait for some of the basic changes that are coming in automotive technology (hint: higher repair costs, aren't they wonderful?). Good luck and good riding to all!
