Well Raging Bull, I am trying to move to either Cal. or Florida, but if I am in the area, I may do an SFO Pass, Stark Raven Mad and Kennywood. I want to hit the parks in Kansas and on the East coast here soon.

Wow Sue, thats quite a track record you have there! *** This post was edited by john peck on 1/19/2001. ***
I'm a hs senior, headed off to fredonia next year.
Worked at Martin's Fantasy Island last year in the catering department.
Currently work as a secretary in an accounting firm
I'm a student with free passes to all of the Kennywood owned parks... not to mention Cedar Point, SFO, Hershey Park, all Paramount owned parks, and much more.

You just gotta have the right connections.

...But that's just my opinion. Unless it's also someone else's.

You are completely full of crap. ACE officers and well connected media folk like myself don't get free passes, why the hell would you?

Reminds me of the crap talkers in my old radio days who acted like they got into every concert free and were best friends with all of the pop stars. Some people will go to great lengths to feel important.

A wing and a prayer (LOL). No seriously, I'm not too familiar with the trademark side of things (our paths rarely cross). But if you want to learn about the "do it yourself" approach, goto the manual of trademark examining procedure (http://www.uspto.gov/web/offices/tac/tmep/) and pay particular attention to chapters 100, 200, 800, and 1100. Those should give you the basics. Feel free to ask for further help if needed.

I don't suppose you could give me any "do it yourself" advice on getting a patent without an army of lawyers??
I work in the produce department at a Fred Meyer store here in Portland,OR.In addition to supporting my family, this helps pay for my annual trips to the PNE in Vancouver,BC to ride Carl Phares'masterpiece, better known as the Coaster.
Excellent topic. What a diverse group!

Me? Degree in Materials Engineering from RPI. Never used it.

Spent four years as a Navy Supply Officer. Kind of miss it.

Now... making Doritos for Frito-Lay. Not sure if I like it, but it pays for all those coaster trips.
RPI? I lived in Albany most of life - just across the river from RPI. Funny, i have a degree in chemistry from SUNY that I've never used.

Ah, somebody familiar with the Capital District. I wouldn't mind going back. My wife wants to attend grad school at SUNY and it would get us closer to some of those Northeast amusement parks.

Gotta ride Boulder Dash and SROS! (I just have to find the right job now.)
What do I do?

I am a student at Kent studying Architecture, wishing to transfer to Ohio State to study Meteorology or Mechanical Engineering. At Kent, after I am done spending 8 hours a day gluing my finger's to model's, I have a choice of either.

A. Get Drunk
B. Visit CP Place and CoasterBuzz.

My Final Answer is B.

Besides that During Christmas and maybe summer I work at Toys R Us and ride scooters which I predict will injure 500 times more people than that of Amusement rides, Excluding Six Flags Parks this year. This summer I will visit Cedar Point 32 times, Get to Boo Manny with seats at the Jake, and continue to keep my golf handicap well below may age. Now if Only i could shoot my age, that would be nice.

Beyond Post, Giga Post
Casino manager and part-time musician. I've often thought of changing careers from casinos to amusement parks and go from dealing with customers over 21 to dealing with lots of customers under 21.

I live in Springfield Mo and work for a county govt. as a cartographer. The county gives me lots of days off which I save for the coaster riding season. Pretty sweet gig
I'm a fulltime painting student at Edinburgh College of Art but due to the crappy selection of coasters in the UK, I'll need about $600 to come and ride in the USA this year. (Donations will be gladly accepted)
I'm part owner of a car dealership only thirty short minutes away from knoebels.

TITAN IS GONNA ROCK TEXAS
A middle school student...in 1 year, I can get a job at 14!
I am a high school student at the moment. If I could quit school I would, so I could work full time but I am 15 so it's illegal to do so. After school I am the C-Ceo of a web design and hosting company and we also fix computers, buy computers sell computers and install software and fix software problems such as bugs, viruses and too little memory. It is a very challenging and very time consuming job but boy do I roll in the dough. I lie in MD and 4 months ago our company got invited to a Hosting conference at the Mirage hotel and casino and we got free airfare, free hotel, free limo, all expenses paid for but we never actually went inside the casino where the party and conference was because I am the oldest person at 15 and we have to be 18. So, we went to the Stratosphere tower, Desperado, and Manhatten Express. Business travels cover my coaster needs. Brings in the 7 digit income for me and my boys.

i work in the games division at Knotts Berry Farm. I work in all the arcades and radio control cars and boats, and lockers sometimes. That helps feed my coaster needs. Just watching monte as I work in Camp Snoopy. Watching boomerang and Perilous Plunge at lunch. Uh.. SOrry... Anyway, I am a student the rest of the time.
