What coaster go you 'hooked'?

THe Magnum got me hooked at CP. I had rode other coasters at other palces and some at CP but when I went down my first ever 100+ foot drop which was also my first ever 200+ foot. Now I'm a coaster freek and have rode 30 in the last year and is a lot since I'm only in Junior High

Cedar Point, it doesn't get any better then that:)
The coaster that started my love for coasters is The Comet at The Great Escape. The coaster that made that love grow was S:ROS at SFNE. Since then I haven't been the same.

According to my mother, Jack Rabbit at Idora Park. But I don't remember that. The first one I remember would be the Blue Streak at Cedar Point. The Streak is no longer the tallest, longest and fastest coaster at the Point (kinda funny to think of it in those terms) but a visit to America's Roller Coast just isn't complete without at least one ride on it. Speeding down the track along the marina... wonderful. Especially just as the sun is going down.
I have always like coasters, but what really got me to be a rail junkie was the first time I rode SOB. Since then, I have gone on it 40 times, and I still love it!

I was afraid of coasters but still rode a few small ones, then I got forced into going on Raptor at CP... That made me realize how much fun coasters are and now I'm hooked.
The Raptor is still my fav ride.
For me, it was a spin aboard the immortal BEAST at King's Island.

Actually, instead of a coaster getting me hooked, a speech I gave did. After hearing someone give a speech on SFGAm in speech class, I chose to give a speech on coasters, because I had always liked going to SFGAm. While researching for the speech, I became so interested (and found Coasterbuzz) that since then I've ridden coasters every chance I've had.

Batman: The Ride at SFMM
AHH well when I was a wee lad, I rode the Whizzer at SFGAm. Never rode one after until many, many years later, while working there, I rode the American Eagle for the first time--backwards. That was in 91 when they had the 10th anniversary celebration for it. That sparked a little fire, then I rode Demon and that was it. I was lost forever to the addiction of coasters.
Thank you for your support.

For me it was just looking at the Great American Scream Machine when i was 4 or so. I always wanted to ride it, and as soon as I rode the runnaway train, I was hooked for life. Loved coasters ever since.

Nitro: The Most Explosive Coaster on the Planet explodes at Six Flags Great Adventure in 2001.
Superman: Ride of Steel at SFA last summer. i cant stop riding now, i cant go to a park without riding the coasters. (for example) if its the newest and most popular like batwing, i wont leave the park unless i ride it. the only thing that will stop me is if its shut down. i would even spend the whole day at cedar point in line just to ride MF cuz its what i havent experienced.
