Whizzer is the coaster that started it all when I went on it when I was 3. Ever since then I've been hooked on coasters.
The Beast at PKI was my first coaster when I was like 5. It scared the crap outta me so I didnt ride it for 2 years after that. But, that got me hooked.
I got hooked by Demon at SFGA a long time ago. I loved that ride but I didn't go total coaster crazy until I rode Batman TR when it first came to SFMM. Both those rides have a special place in my coaster stricken blood.
According to my mod profile, Steel Phantom... the second time. ;)

The Beast at PKI. I had been on the racer, and the Vortex before that but it wasn't until I got the courage at 12 years old to get on the beast. that got me hooked

Incredible Hulk, I liked coasters a lot before I rode it but this thing just put me over the top with 7 inversions and an unsuspecting launch.

"This time I think ... I think it's ... it's going to work!" - Dr.Bruce Banner
Mister Twister at the old Elitch Gardens. I cried the day I read that it had burned down.

Red Wings Suck!!!
It was the magnum for me. It was the first coaster I rode when I met the height requirement, and boy I just loved it.

Cedar Point! The Greatest Place on Earth!
Thunder Road at Carowinds for me.
The first time I rode a roller coaster(Riverking mine train at SFStl 1974) I knew I wanted more! Hey I was only 4 years old and that was all they had, but I knew I wanted more. The Screamin' Eagle was like heaven when it opened in '76.

Just a couple of G-force junkies!
Iron Dragon at CP, as well as every other coaster at CP, especially the Gemini, I can't get enough of that thing!

Welcome back riders, how was your ride...Enjoy your day, here at Cedar Point, America's roller coast.
when i went PKI and rode all the coaster their
I loved hulk, and then went on goliath which got me hooked
Rolling thunder at sfgadv. made me a coaster freak. but that coaster has sadly been ignored by Six Flags and park guests. It is still one of my favs. Riverside Cyclone at SFNE is now my top coaster. with [rotting lumber] right behind. I cant believe once a smooth fast airtime filled thrill ride has become the opposite. SHAME ON SIX FLAGS!!! I have a serious grudge against those "A" Holes! And how about some more wood guys!!!!!
I would have to say The Beast, I had ridden the Vortex, Top Gun, The racer, ect. It was the beast that really hooked me though.
Gemini started me off, but the event that sent me down the slippery slope......
Vortex - 22 times in one day - 132 times upside down (plus 8 for King Cobra) in a twelve hour period. Can you say "In for life?!?"

"Just remember, wherever you go, there you are." - Buckaroo Banzai
The Dragon Coaster at Rye, Playland got me hooked on coasters as well as the world renown part of a ride known as air time...

AOL is evil.
I'll be the first to say this. I'm currently 13, and I was terrified of coasters until age 8. My family went to a local carnival and made me ride the little dragon coasters that let you go around 3 times. I was petrified the first time around, but loved every second of the last two. From then on, I was hooked!
