What are you hoping for in the expansion?

Better parks like SFWoA, SFGAm, SFMW, SFoG, SFDL, or SFEG

and banked drops oon the arrow coasters.

I don't consider SFWoA to be a better park. It happens to be one of the worst parks. -That park has a permanent daily ride closing sign at the front gate. For someone visiting there for the first time, it shows that park isn't very promising. Also, I doubt if there will be a lot of new flat rides developed because it's more difficult to create them than roller coasters.

Better building tools. It takes usually so long to make a station or a building. I think there should be triangular walls, and extra large walls. Also the ability to add scenery in the rollercoaster designer. And in the scenario editor, make the objects list easier and less time consuming (It gets kinda annoying to click 158 rides.)

-----------------

I would like to see not just more flat rides but also midway games, an arcade, and at least one or two full service style restaurants (a buffet and/or steakhouse). Also tables (umbrellas optional) for the peeps to eat at instead of the benches.

I never use the Sports, Giant Candy, or Wonderland themes. I would replace them with a Bavarian (German/Swiss), Arabian (to go with the Flying Carpet), and Polynesian (unlike the Jungle theme already in the game).

The Rocket Coaster seems like a given but I would like to see banked drop turns on ALL the coasters in particular the suspended coaster. Unbanked track was part of The Bat's problem why does the RCT suspended have to have unbanked turns?

I would also like a Giant Ferris Wheel but something like SFGAm's former Sky Whirl would be awesome!

One last thing that is really annoying is you can have twenty restrooms in the park and you still have a bunch of peeps complaining that they have to use the restroom.

I have to agree with RollerJunkie on the need for better building tools when stacking scenery to make custom designed station houses.

It's a real pain as well as a real expense when you have to click on ascenery item to add it it & then to have to go & delete your scenery item because even though it appears in the correct spot from one view you rotate the camera only to find that the pieces aren't lined up correctly at all.

As for the peeps not being able to find the facilities in the park, that has more to do with the AI which is a part of the game engine & an expansion pack won't do much to change that,in order to change it a completely new game engine would have to be produced.

I like everyone's ideas, but here are some of my own that nobody has mentioned yet:
-More elements for coasters (large corkscrews for diveloops, butterfly inversions for the corkscrew coasters, more elements on Impulses so you can make rides like Volcano, circular loops for Schwarzkopf coasters, large half loops for the raven turns on 4d coasters and the LIM coasters)

-Indoor restaurants and arcades.

-This probably woundn't be made for an expansion pack, but an offseason for your park so you can build/replace rides while your guests are away.

-Waterpark rides.

Besides the flats I think we need:

-Overbanked Turns

- Midway Games, indoor restaurants, arcades

-Rocket Coaster

-Improved Air Launched

-Lap Bar Premier

-VIP tours (this won't ever happen)

-Non-continuous Circuit Waterslides

-the old way to use the land feature (terrain, and color options)

-more entertainers

-ride operators

-large corckscrew

-oblique loop on B&M Standup

- Magnum type tunnels

-LIM sections that are not at the station

-1st Gen Int. Freefall

I would like to see better AI. My peeps always congregate to one corner so I have to make more paths than I would like.

Also, I definetly want more realistic manuevers and transitions. The gradual drop to flat track (arrow hyper, steel twister, etc.) is great. Steeper drops would be good also.

And the number one thing I'd like to see in an expansion pack is...

FLAT RIDES

(who would have guessed that. lol)

-----------------
"Life is like a roller coaster; there are ups and downs and it's over all too fast."

Fight Back at: www.realizethis.com

diagonal inversions, better corkscrews, BETTER TRANSITIONS (up corkscrew, banked corkscrew entrances; zero g roll), more real parks, more scenarios, better and more flat rides. We really need some basic classics like wave swinger, sky coaster, faster scrambler, bigger ferris wheel, etc. Also I would like to see more realistic scenery items, themeing to rides (for flying carpet, snow cups, and all other rides), pay per rides and park admission at the same time, stage shows, improvements on all coasters, a different banking angle, etc. If we got the majority of what has been stated already and here, the game would be insanely sweet.

I lost my hat on Poison Ivy. How pathetic.

Rocket Coaster

Option for an off-season

Option for a lift and other elements on Intamin Inverts

More realistic theming

Overbanks

More realistic supports

Holding brake for impulses

Flats

Indoor sit-down restaurants

Mid-way games

More Realistic Transistions

Inversions on Intamin Giga's

Tunnels that make clean looking curves instead of the custom, staggered ones we have to make

Water parks

Construction Crews

Even though I suggested a lot, I really like RCT2 lol.

I HEART OHIO

I would really like to see more of the basic amusement park flat rides. More thrill rides. Also, Intamin Rocket Coaster and better water slides.

Shockwave @ SFGAm R.I.P 1988-2002
Top 5 Coasters: 1) Raging Bull 2) Magnum 3) Millennium Force 4) Viper 5) Tie (Beast and The Boss)

I would love to see a fright fest type thing, where your park only opens at night and gets all decorated and lit up. You can hire special entertainers just for the event and then they don't come back until the next year.

I would also like to see more senery, fascades (sp?), neon signs, themed shops, large walk in gift shops, do-dads for coasters (lights, flags, etc), and steps on the lift hills.

Intamin Rockets

Diagonal inversions

LIM sections (to boost train) that can be used on inclines

Large half corkscrew options other than the small ones, to make lateral G's less intense on recreations like Robin Chiller

Dive Loop and Zero-G roll inversions that look right (they could have 1/2 zero-g roll where it would rise and twist, then we could combine that with regular barrel rolls to recreate weird Zero-G's like chillers where it looks like a regular zero-G but levels out)

Intamin Inverted and looping coasters

Picture of seats when building 4D rather than numbers of angles

All of the old options back from RCT1, such as the land/path options, boosters, 2 across trains on inverted for Giovanola inverts, etc. etc.

Have other types of signs besides no entry such as "restrooms this way" or "food court this way" etc. etc.

Cedar Fair parks as well as SF parks

MORE SCENARIOS

more flat rides

more realistic looking supports on coasters

lap bar option for Premier trains

upcharge rides

waterpark option

smoother element transition (that 1/2 barrel roll with a 1/2 loop like on the flashback recreation look horrible)

IMPROVE THE COASTERS!!

and I would like to see them just buy the rights to the damn official coaster names so we do not have to keep calling 4D's "Multi-Dimensional coasters" or B&M coasters "Twisters".

And please give me back the option to charge for both rides and admission in the same scenario. I make the most money from charging per ride and it just makes a huge mega-10 inversion coaster with 12.50 excitement so much more satisfying to build if you can charge a high price for it, and not have your brand new shiny 10+ excitement mega coaster cost as much to ride as that rusty 10-year old slide that came with the park and they wont let you get rid of it! So please give back the ability to have both admission charging and ride charging in the same scenario so I can alter scenarios to my liking in terms of charging my guests!

I ask for only a couple simple things. A holding break on the impulse, inversions on the Intamin track, launch ability on Intamins, and bunny hills on TA2Ks.

-----------------
0-60mph+ in 2.5

Since just about everthing under the sun has ben mentioned, I'll add one other item ot the list. The ability to make banked inclines/declines wider.

Here is something that I don't think I have ever heard mentioned: adjustable queue areas.

Hasn't everyone put too many (or two few) queue squares for a ride at some point?

I'd like some option to block or open a part of the queue while leaving the rest open, allowing the player to make a queue longer or shorter as needed. Did that make sense?

-----------------
California Screamin- it's good!

Yeah I always have that problem, especially with coasters. I make a huge Inverted for example and put in a lot of queue tiles, and then people miss the trains because they are stuck in the queue lines!

I got to thinking maybe they could have an offseason where the people would freeze from nov. through feb. and you could do anything you want with out having to worry about running the park. They could put some kind of skip button in so you could skip it if you wanted to.
I think you wont see an offseason until RCT3. I do think we will get some flats and Intamin Rocket. I would love to see us get some more supports for coasters like B&M diagnals.

Different mine train cars, the arrow cars. Also inline corkscrews.

Do I have to take a picture of Kings Island or Cedar Point's or any other parks front gates to show you they almost all have ride closure signs out front?
