What are you hoping for in the expansion?

I am looking for Intamin Rocket (probable), Waterpark (doubtful), and Thrill Rides (maybe).

I was thinking that they should come out with a new train for the Premier Coaster with lapbars that would lower the intensity rate. That would be cool. I am also hoping for vertical drops on Intamins and Banked turns for SLC, Flying, and Corkscrews.

Two Words: Flat Rides. ALso, Intamin Rocket Coaster would be nice, and more elements for the Intamin Launched inverted. I would also like to see an option for a second lift on shuttle coasters, such as the boomerangs. If you could have a lift that disengaged and let the car fall down, that would be great. It is kind of a pain having to have your coaster go through the course forwards fast, driving up intensity so that it will make it through the course backwards.

You're going to get Flat Rides from almost everyone. I'd concur (as in the other thread) that a few more flats couldn't hurt.

I'd also like to see some little things changed - Like the way ratings for the Roto Drop are generated being updated so bigger ones could be built. We'll most certainly get new theming sets although I doubt many are exactly really wanting this, but it'll open up the options a bit.

Other than that you might see some newer coaster types added (Rocket Coasters immediately come to mind) and a bunch of new scenarios but that's about it.

I wouldn't expect much from the addon except these minor updates. People will complain about the expansion pack for RCT like they did all the RCT1 expansions but they'll still buy them.

That is about all I can think of. RCT 2 is quite packed as it is already.

I can't decide is it BGW or SDC/CC.

I wondered how long it would be until one of these threads started. ;) My wish list would be more flat rides and the Intamin Rocket Coaster, also some improvements to already existing coasters (i.e. banked drops on Corckscrew coasters), and an official scenery editor would be great.

some basic theme park basic rides like himalaya, troika, and wave swinger, and some more fantastice flat rides like an intamin 2 or 3 armed wheel, evolution, giant frisbee and condor. get ride of some of the carnival like stuff like the current ferris wheel, the 2nd observation tower etc if memory is an issue.

more theming that is true to theme parks, like Orleans, Hillbilly, Swiss, European and 50's. Some of the themes they have are not very appealing (giant candy, sports, abstract, urban etc)

An option to change the stalls into themed buildings like the ride entrances. If you are going for theming, giant pop can appearing stands don't work.

Just about every kind of coaster possible is available. Inclined loops and overbanked turns are about the only major element missing. Also a way to add lims in the middle of a coaster or at the end of a shuttle (mr freeze) so you dont have to launch it so fast at the beginning.

Intamin Double or triple wheel.
I want the stupid air powered launch coaster to be changed. I would love to have a piece of track that actually launched the coaster instead of launching out of the station. I'd like to see little up and down hill pieces, helixes, and for all coasters not just this one brakes on the hills. Hypersonic is one of my favorite rides I'd like to be able to recreate it.

I would like to see vertical drop on giga coaster,holding brake on impulse,inclined loops,a bunch of flats/thrill rides,itamin rocket coaster,large half loops to right/left or a pretzel loop element on the B&M flyer,easier to build 4Ds,and object editor in game.

Il would like to see holding drop for inverted impulse coasters, improvements for corksrew coasters and Air power vertical coasters, Full circuit coasters for inverted impulse coasters like Valcaneo, 65-90 drops for Giga coasters. Lapbars for Premier coasters. Of course a sky coaster, sling shot ride, and other awesome flat rides. More themeing options, midway games, and someother things.
I would like to see the game more "Park Operational" You would have some off season time and actually have construction crews come in and build coasters. A water park type thing is cool, but most likely won't happen. More flats and to be able to hire more staff members!

OK, here is my short list...

Overbanked turns on intiman gigas and B&M Hypers and Premier Launched.

B&M Flyer with a loop that finishes off center so a pretzel loop can be created.

LIM track for just about all the steel coasters instead of only launching out of a station. It would be nice to speed up a ride part way through it.

The damn terrain tool back.

Rocket coaster baby!

Some more scenery options expecially roof pieces for corners. I know it can be made with the object editor but something that standard should be in the game.

More flats. A bigger ferris wheel. Nuff said on that topic.

A 45 degree angle corkscrew so you can make straight corkscrews and design rides like the standard Arrow Corkscrew.

Looping track on the giga/and or intiman box track for an inverted as well. (I am thinking Tornado here)

I want a double ferris wheel and an air racer ride (most are gone now). Perhaps a 1st gen freefall. Some classic stuff to make parks "feel" like they've grown through the years.

well after Top Thrill Dragster's announcement i'd say we're pretty likely to see rocket coasters... and thats good news for me :)

Be able to charge admission to the park AND have some rides like the go carts, mini golf, boat hires, and hopefully a sky coaster that the guests expect to have to pay for in addition to the entry fee.

Also even if flat rides are the hardest to create for the game a few flat rides resemble coasters and should be easy to put in the game. example: bayern curve and super loop/ring of fire.

Lastly remove the damn snowman from the teacups ride.

I would like to see real overbank turns for the Intamin coasters. Also banked inclines for hypers and corkscrews.

Another idea would be night-time. Not that the park would close, but it would just get darker for a while and the rides would light up. It could come and go randomly just like the changing weather.

Something that would help us all make more money would be acades and games.
