Yep, see some of you tomorrow!
So I'm guessing the train didn't pass state inspection? Guess we will know soon enough, still can't wait for the event. See everyone tomorrow!
...or they delayed the inspection because they weren't perfectly happy with it. I think the latter is more likely as there were rumors that it would be delayed on Sunday/Monday of this week.
They say "no news is good news"...but I am unsure that applies in this case...
Miss ya, Mooshie! Miss ya Josh! Get your butts to PA!
It's almost time for the HWN warm-up at SFStL. BOSS, Eagle and EK await with a side of FREEZE.
^I too think the TL inspection was postponed. They wouldn't have it inspected unless they were 100% confident in it. Sounds like they are still working some bugs out. One more event with the awesome power of the PTCs is fine by me.

HolidayWorld is on central time...correct?
If I remember correctly, I think we already know that the inspection was not failed, but was probably postponed. How do we know this? Because the announcement that we would not be riding the TimberLiners tonight was made on Wednesday afternoon, and we were previously told that the inspection was scheduled for Thursday.
For all we know, the inspection passed yesterday, but the park isn't prepared to turn us into a bunch of guinea pigs. 8-)

Ah Dave, I missed the Wednesday announcement, which is why I thought there wasn't any news yet.
Thanks KYJoe.
What, no Moosh? What happened? :(
And yes...we called off the State Inspection on Wednesday.
Excuse me now ... got a dark park full of coaster crazies. :)

Had a ball at HWN was great of Will to Play Bass Guitar with the Beach Combers for us, Manage the park and help Mike G of TGG explain the specifics of the Timberlienrs The had the lead car which is two bench on display and tryouts. Several components on the trains have been made stronger, Replaced ect. This is why they are testing so thoroughly.
IDK thought, I say bring em on. Id get two or three great rides on Voyage and Ravage and the next time it would rattle my brain in my head. Even in the same seat. The old wheel chatter batter whatever it is. Then the next ride would be fine?????????
Legend was flat out smoking and for now has regained my favorite woodie Add a couple more corners of death :) Rode it about 30 times including a 9 straight finish to the event last night.
Raven also running very well, Waits were not a big issue with the one train as the staff doubled up and each op only had to cover 6 seats to check!
Thumbs up once again, I did not make Waterpark ERT. All in our group gave Wildebeest a resounding A+ Kick butt rating!
It was a fantastic event (as usual). First time back since premier of Voyage. Rode the Ravoyage car and it was great. We did get tickets to come back when Timberliners are running. Sat in the timberliner out for us and it is sooo comfortable. Not quite sure of the full way the restraint will work. Was really hot and we did the waterpark from 8 - 1:30. Wildebeast is a blast. We got 5 laps on it. Very good time as usual.
HWN was AWESOME! The Voyage was SICK, and Legend and Raven were FLYING as well. Not disappointed about the Timberliners one bit, because we were able to experience the Raven train on the Voyage, and it was AWESOME riding the PTCs at night. The food was great, and everybody was so friendly and fun. What a blast! Thanks to everyone at HW!

Ok, so now the push to get Timberliners for HWN is over.
Just curious when they will be ready? Do they have a date in mind
or will it be 'a while'?
