Welcome back PPPers, how WAS your ride?

chris - don't encourage the Bass or my goons won't be as nice as they were at PPP!

Chris: It's actually not far enough...I'm trying to talk Moosh into going from Knoebels to Florida, then back to Virginia.

Bass says:

Yeah...and in a single day, too!

Now you guys get it.

If you need a driver for that trip, let me know.

Maybe I should be a trucker...

I have to admit, Chris, that Seattle-to-Silverwood-to-Seattle jaunt did impress the hell out of me. That's my kind of schedule; we'd kill old man Moosh if he tried that.

Perhaps the two of you should do the trip Bass has suggested for Con next year, or as I call it "Bass's Kamikazi Drive-Til-The-Wee-Hours-Get-No-Sleep-Spend-5-Minutes-at-Each-Park Trip to ACE's 2003 Con."

Moosh - getting too old for such things.

Rob..... agreeing that you guys are nutso! Then again, I flew to Japan just to ride SD2K in the rain. Go figure!

Rob - chris and I had a 2pm meeting time at PPP registration on Saturday. All morning I kept thinking that perhaps you were playing a trick on me and were gonna show up with him.

Oh well....

I am a bastard, but I have blue hair, so I am really cool!

I had an incredible time at PPP. Great riding and great friends. Thanks to all those that made my first PPP great!!

Also, Sunday was awesome too. Robb, Elissa and I just planned to spend the day at Six Flags Great Adventure by ourselves, but then we were joined by Magnum Force, VAcoasterfreak and Kneemiester and then later David Hamburger joined our group. GREAT fun you guys!

Oh and Brent, we are both tied at 122 coasters.. And they call Roadrunners express a kiddy coaser???? OWWWW

Moosh: No, we're going to get up EARLY and do all that driving, I don't like too much driving after a full day at a park.

And I know I can sign you up for the Jersey Shore portion just by saying "26 credits...26 credits..." softly in your general vicinity...

Bass - I'd still be a credit whore if my count was a low as yours! BWA HA HA HA HA!

Moosh - quality over quantity

No kidding blitz, that was VaCoasterFreak though, not AZ Rider.

Anyway we had a great time both saturday with our CP group and Sunday with you guys.

Chiller is quite possibly the sweetest thing on Earth Nitro is awesome but it's no Maggie. Shockwave OW OW OW OW. Viper OW OW OW OW. Rotting Lumber, how do they let a coaster get that bad. Medusa was very sweet but no B:KF. Batman was Batman, Skull Mountain has an insane airtime moment.

So much fun.

The highlight though is still the insane air/lateral going into the helix on Twister. The best coaster of the weekend by far and we road Twister and Phoenix at least 20 times each.

How could I forget HSTC. 14 trips around on that thing was just about as fun as anything else.

Arrowguy: That was your only phight of the night? I feel priveledged to have seen that showing. Am I the only one who feels totally inadequate on the phlyers???

-----------------
A rollercoaster? What's that?

Shockwave Magnum Force? Dont you mean GASM? :)

Yes, it hurt. Especially since the rows we were sitting in were on the Axle. Talk about paaaaainnnn!

Oh yeah GASM. Shockwave was no where near as painful as GASM. ;)

All I can say is what a great way to end a great coaster season. Got to spend time with cool people ridding my favorite woodie, the sprit of Mr. Twister lives on at Knobels. And to top it off I got to fulfill another quest, the Penn. Turnpike from End to End, yeah, Im a road junkie too.

Oh and I got my camera back too!!

Yes, and I also had thought that Rob may have been one of the goons that would be awaiting me. Trust me, that group of 'bruisers' could use the extra muscle! ;)

ApolloAndy, yup that lone Phlyer Phlight was all I could squeeze in. But boy was it a beauty! I only wish a certain someone would have seen that 180!

How did this go phrom a Phoenix love thread to an Arrow bash thread? ;)

Still laughing about the Power Surge incident.

That was funny. I was on the ride with you and I happened to catch that.
