Villain at SFWOA

On Saturday, the trains weren't running to bad actually. They were a little rough, but were giving some really nice air and pulling some nice laterals on the turnarounds like Chris said. I only got to ride it once and it was at about 2:00. So their must have been some changing troughout the day because on the final turnaround the train wasn't really "fighting" the track like he said.

I have some questions.......probably dumb ones too. What's the difference between the G-Trains and PTC trains? Who makes them? And could I have some examples of rides that use the different ones?

Thanks

Corey

I should have clarified. The train seemed to be really fighting that turnaround early in the day (at opening), but was handling it well when we went back later in the afternoon and for the rest of the night.

That's weird. I must have had a good ride then Chris.

Either that or it had worked itself out by two.

Here's a good thread about different trains:

Personally I love the ride. I got 10 rides on it last night, 3 of them in the front seat to finish off the night begging the operator so send us one more time, and she did. It's great the airtime on that second hill when you get launched over the hill. I really do dislike that trick track though, it is very painful and unneccessary.

Villain is a moody coaster. There are days I've been beat up on it and there are days when I get great rides. I rode it yesterday and it was running very well. The trick track was not as brutal as it sometimes can be. Don't know if it's because of the colder temps.

And Villain runs its best at night, no doubt about it.

Why did you change it Brett? It was a good natured rib at an innocent typo. I thought it was funny, but now you've made my post a moot point. ;)
