VF Posts Renegade Construction Pictures

^ Maybe that's what the outhouse in the picture is there for. ;)
I think that facility is for a CERTAIN VF intern's trailer...
They've shipped the trains from GCI! That's what it says on TN at least.
It is not just TN. There are pics and a blog entry about it on the GCI interns' website now.

Ran out to ValleyFair this afternoon with the family to get our season passes processed. The trains for Renegade arrived at the park today. They wouldn't let us back there to look at it, but they said they have made alot of progress in the last week since the weather has gotten better. They still wouldn't promise it would be ready by opening day, but I suspect it will be.

Another construction photo update from coaster gallery of all places. Great pics.

That first drop looks sick. I really hope I can get up there this year. :)

Yes...only the best! :)

I can't wait to ride this thing. Sure it probably won't be ready for its originally scheduled Media Day and opening, but it will be worth the wait!

Pics of the trains that got there Saturday.
So when's the pull-through...?

Check out the trains on that thing. Do they look comfy or what? Just give me a beer and a TV remote and I'd be set for life. :)
Millennium Flyers are very comfortable. Their only issue is the lap bars can lock lower during the ride.

Last update I saw not all of the steel rails was laid on the wood track bed. I not sure but I think they have to finish that first ;)

Looking good with less than 2 weeks to go until opening day. Hopefully it will be ready.

I dunno. I have my hopes, but they're outnumbered by my doubts.

I still don't see queue rail the first installed; they still appear to be stacked up. And is the path to Thunder Canyon and Excalibur repaved yet? Compared to the new concrete in the queue area, I think not.

It will be more than worth the wait. But methinks there'll be a bit more of that before the ride opens....

Has anyone ever told you you spend ENTIRELY too long staring at these photos? :) I thought I was bad!

But yeah. There they are!

I'll make opening day because Da Babies will kill me otherwise. More than likely, I'll be in a Race for the Cure shirt. I've never liked the look of them, but since I'm running the Sunday 5K...I might as well.

At worst, Screaming Swing should be kicking arse.
