Here goes nothing.
Some "rough" woodies are downright exhilarating. Love the feeling that I have to battle the ride. Hard bumps on the low points are another thing entirely though.
The industry needs more short coasters. <.< >.>
Boomerangs are cool.
Over-hyping ruined my first Maverick experience.
Volcano is the fourth best coaster at KD.
A good helix beats a good inversion.
I was dead serious, and actually King Cobra was (and is) my favorite stand-up as well. But I've enjoyed all the Togos I've ridden. In fact, all four of them are in the top 50% of my favorite steel coasters.
Some of mine-
I think a ride in the front row on a B&M Standup is as intense as coasters get, and it's a shame there aren't more of them.
I find Vekoma SLCs and Boomerangs enjoyable, and B&M Rattle sounds like some sort of exotic bowel disorder to me.
Ice Dragon is better than Fire Dragon.
The trick was to surrender to the flow.
As a lift hill enthusiast, the trend of steep lift hills. Kind of ruins a lift for me. It was fun the first time on Millennium Force, but every other coaster has a 45 degree lift now. It's a trade off I guess. You don't get to enjoy the lift and surroundings as much. It's an odd angle if you're trying to look around. Goliath at Great America is especially strange at that lift angle with no headrests. I can't imagine how a lift evacuation would go over. (There is always enough space for a nice long lift; the space argument never works for me.)
Lake Compounce: I prefer Wildcat over Boulderdash.
Holiday World: Legend is my favorite.
RMC: the badassery of super-snappy transitions gets old fast.

Another unpopular opinion with which I agree.

Yikes, I think we got a winner here folks.
Agree with Ice>Fire
Alpengeist is my favorite B&M invert (banshee is a real close second)
Magnum is still my favorite coaster @CP
The Beast is still the best wooden coaster on the planet
SFGAm is overrated and is not a park I enjoy going to at all
Dollywood is a better park then Silver Dollar City but Silver Dollar City has better rides. DW's food, shows, layout, and surrounding area makes up for the ride deficit.
The best non coaster ride in the world is the Florida Tower of Terror, the second best ride is Spider-man
If I could pick between a day at Epcot or a day at Cedar Point, I would choose Epcot 9 out of 10 times.
The best roller coaster park in Florida is Sea World, even though I only spend <2 hours of my day there riding rides.
I find it hard to visit Kings Dominion and enjoy my day there because I know I'm an hour away from Busch Gardens and would rather be in Williamsburg even though I think KD is a very nice park.
2022 Trips: WDW, Sea World San Diego & Orlando, CP, KI, BGW, Bay Beach, Canobie Lake, Universal Orlando
I've lived in Washington, DC since 2011.
Since I've moved here, I've been to SFA once, KD once, and BGW probably 15 times. Obviously I value the better park experience even with the significantly longer drive time.
I'll one up you on Magnum - it's not just my favorite coaster at CP, it's my favorite steel coaster, period.

I'll see your Holiday World and raise you a Knoebel's.

I would be 10/10. Related to the other thread about getting older and going to parks. I don't go to parks anymore to ride rides. Give me Food & Wine (or even the stupid flower thing, aka F&W lite) at Epcot any day...
ACErs are cool. And so is Robb Alvey.
-Magnum's trains are garbage.
-Skyrush is underrated
-I'm done with all the 3d rides Universal is addicted to installing lately
-I think the Peanuts themed kids areas at the Cedar Fair Parks are extremely well done!!!
Maverick and I-305 should be slowed 5-10 mph.
Going backwards on a coaster is awful.
X (or X2) is the most pain I've ever felt on a coaster. (Does that count as an opinion? For me it's a fact.)
B:TR is my least favorite B+M invert. (That I've ridden at least)
Morgan hypercoasters are really fun, (probably only unpopular among enthusiasts.)
