Ultra Twister and SFA

BWSFA, I am a major John Miller fan, and although his contribution to the Wild One may be over-shadowed by later re-designs, I still MUST ride it! :)
Plus I need to compare Roar! to it's counterpart ( I am impressed with SFMW's). The list goes on; I can't wait to visit.

Gator, seeing as I cannot do Solace or HN, I'm focusing on advance planning for PPP. Friday would be Dorney, Sat is Knoebel's, Sun morn at Lakemont (if Ridefest happens again), drive 4 hrs and do SFA 5-10pm, and Mon at SFGrAd. I'll keep you posted... :)

They Live. We Sleep.

How can anyone say for sure if they have or havent got the permits to build it? Just because no coaster site has it posted doesnt mean that the park doesn't have them...
Permits are a matter of public record. By doing a little research online you can find out if the park has applied or received permits recently.

A day at the park is what you make it!

Word has it on screamscape that Ultra twister track has been sighted on a flatbed at the park.
Yeah.. and I think just about everyone here reads Screamscape.

A day at the park is what you make it!

I was just at the park on Friday (1/26), well, I drove by it, and I can assure you, if Ultra Twister is at SFA, it's not anywhere that you can see it from Central Ave. The person who submitted that post to Screamscape either A) saw the flatbed truck physically enter the gates (unlikely), B) somehow got back to the Employee Parking lot (the only other parking lot it could be in... and Batwing was staged there, so...) (but that would also be unlikely unless they worked for the park), or C) didn't know what they were talking about.

If Ultra Twister was coming to SFA, it would be there by now (seeing how it was in Manassas, VA over a week ago). But as the same guy who brought you the first pics of the HH slides arriving in the parking lot at SFA, I can ASSURE you, Ultra Twister is currently not visable from Central Ave. Not saying it's not at the park at all, but if it is there, it's probably either in the employee parking lot, back where Python was, or in a staging area inside the park. So if you hear more rumors about people seeing Ultra Twister in the parking lot from the road, don't believe it, because it's not true.

If you can't stand the heights, get out of the line.
