Yeah, I bet they'll fill the dining room then make you stand against the wall while the restaurant starts revolving so fast that they drop the floor out and you stay against the wall. It'll be kinda hard to eat, though.

This was part of an e-mail that was sent to me from my brother. He went to the park for the weekend w/his family. He worked at CP for 4 years in the mid 80's and still has some contact s there.

There is track and support posts laying by the Mean Streak and also in the Soak City parking lot for the 2003 thrill ride. Some DJ broke the news on Saturday that it was an Intamin 410' thrill ride that would shoot out of the station, go straight up, then straight down and into a loop and then back to the station. My old boss was doing "damage control" witht he press all day Saturday as nothing has been officially announced. I bet it will be soon!

410 feet??? You must have got your numbers mixed up or they just said that number to get our hopes up. This new coaster will not be that big. Yeah, I know it's going to be an awesome ride and it will be tall, but 410 feet...c'mon now? Don't make your expectations so high because it will only dissappoint you in the long run.

'moosh, I *assume* you mean in duration.....and you couldn't be more right....that, IMO is the "one thing" Jeff has been referring to....ride time...

'Gator - while I have not been given exact specs from any of my sources I have been lead to believe that anyone looking for a long, record breaking track length is going to be disappointed. My guess is that it will in proportion w/ Xcelerator specs [twice Xcelerator's height, twice the length] . But lets get real...no matter what, people are gonna find something to complain about.

Clear what up? We no nothing except there is a large Intamin rocket coaster. There are no confirmed stats, name, or anything.

I've heard like 21346321721636 rumors about the new coaster they're getting. I really hope it's a 432ft giga coaster that stretches from magnum to the boardwalk. Wow that would be great =P
