^^Not only that, but it seems entirely appropriate for someone to offer these 'suggestions' on a forum entitled "Suggestions for CoasterBuzz".
In fairness, this was posted in 'General Buzz'. I moved it to 'Suggestions'.
I kind of have to agree with Redman. It's all about how you say it.
Could he have worded it better? Definitely.
It did start a conversation about how some people would like to see this site and possibly gave Jeff a better idea of what he should include in the next version.

...and THAT is how one distinguishes "constructive criticism" from plain old whining and b*tching...
Otherwise, the forum could just be re-labeled "Complaints about Coasterbuzz"...that would make Jeff happier...NOT! ;)
While we're on the subject, my sig is WAY past due for an update... :)

What if there's something that you WANT to emphasize with just caps, but don't want the word to JUMP OUT and grab the attention as it would if it were bolded and/or italicized?
Also, if you're using Internet Explorer, you can underline (it might work in firefox, but I haven't tried it. I use IE). There's no button on the formatting bar, but it's standard windows shortcuts (CTRL-U to toggle underline on/off, just like CTRL-I for italics and CTRL-B for bold). I support not having the button on the formatting bar, though, because on the web in a text environment, underlines are usually synonymous with links.

Actually, one of the things I'm working on right now is a better abstraction of the membership engine so I can do some things that make more sense. A single-signon system could be in the future of all of my sites. Haven't sold myself on the idea yet, but it's a thought.
