The True Six Flags St.Louis!

What if you don't like vanilla though, Moosh?

I can only assume your post was directed at me since I did use the word, "worthless." If it was not, then ignore the following.

I never said his park was worthless, but his "review" of the park to prove others wrong was.

Oh yeah, SFStL is my homepark.

SFStl is one of my favorite SF parks, and yes I have been to a few.

It has a great atmosphere, absolutely gorgeous, and not to bad of a coaster collection.

They have a great woodie (IMO), and classic woodie, a B&M, and a great launched coaster. Not to many parks can say they have all of those. They may not be the best collection, but they do go hand in hand.

I only wanted people to know that this park never really gets paid attention to, but really should as I said before. Im not trying to disjudge other parks because because did I even mention another park besides SFSTL? NO! Ok thanks guyz. = P

Steven, try to convince your parents to take you down I-64 east to Holiday World.

It'll probably take you about 3 1/2 hours, maybe 4 hours if they drive normal.

I see by your profile you were born in '89, which means you can drive next year (wow, thats crazy). So maybe you can hop some friends on board and make a little road trip.

Mmmmm, me likey vanilla ice cream! :)

SFStL, based on one trip with two visits to the park, was a REALLY nice park, one of the better ones in the chain.....of course, I got to go on "Gay Day", so there! :-P

I really do want to try all the other great parks out there. It's kinda sad though because I have only been to Six Flags St.Louis, Seaworld Orlando, Disney World, Universal Studios Orlando, and Silver Dollar City. = (

I need to explore more of the world badly.

Well, uhh, actually you did. Here is a statement from you on the first page of this topic.

"But Six Flags St.Louis is the Six Flags that is original and that is less know just because it's a smaller park but just as great as Magic Mountain or Great Adv."

You can't judge these other 2 parks and compare it to SFSTl if you haven't visited them.

My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.

Stop using that logic crap!

Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."

What the hell does disjudge mean?

OMG I have a new sig!!!
Ilove six flags St Louis I just wish they had a hyper coaster or drop tower....that would be really good. They do hurricane harbor and it is included in admission. This was the first year that I went to more than 1 in the same season. Can someone tell me if the scream at san antonio is as tall as the superman drop tower at dallas?
SFSL is a nice park - It's a local park, not a vacation destination park. My first visit was back in 1975 - I remember all the hype around the Screamin' Eagle when it was built, a world record holder in '76. (they need to retro-fit back that double-up on the hill back to the station - can't believe they removed it - grrrr)

To me though, the park has become stale. Hurricaine Harbor was a great addition, but that was 6/7 years ago. The Park needs a New Midway badly. A new area to explore. You can pretty cover the entire park in a manner of 4 hours if the crowds allow it.

To Do list:

- New Midway behind Hurricaine Harbor.
- Drop Tower
- Hyper or Floorless coaster - a Big One to outline the East side of the Park.
- 2 or 3 more flats.
- New Kiddie Land - the one we got is Horrible. Crappy Carnival Rides with NO Theming. It like going to a Church Carnival in a local Parking Lot. Not much better than that.

Steve

Oh.. and a few more

- Please re-surface the parking lot, it's a gravel driveway.
- and Redesign the front entrance. Those Temperary security booths just take aways from the aethetics of the place. *** Edited 11/10/2004 4:33:19 PM UTC by Steve Poelker***

My post was not directed directly at just one person. It was directed at anybody who said that SFSL was not a good park and trying to convince SFSTLsteven that he was just wrong. I don't mind those who reminded him that he can't really say that SFSL is the best in the world without visiting anywhere else. I just disliked how people were saying that SFSL was lousy and telling him to go elsewhere before he said it was good. It might be a good park. If he says its good, that means it is good in his opinion. Telling him that his opinion was just wrong is what I didn't like.

And to kingfish600, Scream! in San Antonio is nowhere near as tall as Superman-Tower of Power.

Legendary, it's the opposite of datjudge.
I totally agree with you Steve, I would rather have a new floorless coaster design found nowhere else and also a huge drop tower.

To me it seems like St. Louis people, including me, like to represent ourselves like Nelly and Chingy who are rappers from STL. They include lyrics talking about St. Louis in thier songs. Our state should have a new nickname instead of the "Show Me State."

Now back on topic. SFSTL has a lot of potential because of its friendly and beautiful atmosphere. Also because of its great service and an above average collection of rides and coasters. Hopefully we will get either a coaster or a drop tower because we truly deserve it.

Deserve? Are you even talking about coasters?

The only parks that deserve anything are the ones that will return the investment.

You and Batwing Fan SFA and DawgBite II should start a club.

I wonder if its anything like 'Fraudulate'. I heard that one on Judge Judy this week ("I swear I didn't not fraudulate that man").

Edit: miss-spelt fake word:). *** Edited 11/14/2004 8:27:36 AM UTC by TeknoScorpion***

. . .That is one of the funnier things I have heard today. I'd say you are in the minority modelling your life after Chingy and Nelly. Maybe the new state modo should include a Chingy song tiltle and be the "Juice these Hoes" state.
