I remember that park. I was there when I was about 6 or 7. I don't remember the kiddie coaster but remember one that was either a Wildcat like CP's or a Zyklon. Unfortunately I didn't ride.

Where was that park anyway? I know is was in the Poconos someplace.

Knoebels visits in 2002. 6

PKD-King Cobra (Which also made stops at Jolly Rogers Amusement Park, Alton Towers..as Thunderlooper, and presently at Hopi Hari in Brazil as Katapul)

SFNE-Black Widow...my first coaster (relocated to Old Indiana Fun Park, where it now sits in storage)

Trimper Rides-Toboggan (still standing, but not a very popular coaster)

BGW-Drachen Fire (as mentioned, it has been rode by many, but no longer)

-----------------

The Bat - PKI

Zephyr - Pontchartrain Beach - Out & Back Woodie

Zephyr Junior Pontchartrain Beach

Wild Mouse - Pontchartrain Beach - Was this the only wooden mouse (Both structure and track were wood) in the US or were there others?

I rode the Rollercoaster at Canton Ohio's Meyers Lake Park, it was closed before I was born, but was operated for a couple weeks before it was torn down. (1980?)

A strange point to be made was that the cars were EXTREMELY similar to to mine train cars, but on an old woody.

Monte Makaya in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and Cyclon in Santiago, Chile.

It was the Mad Mouse I believe. It stood all by itself at the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. Sadly it sat SBNO for many years before finally being demolished. Any other Missouri buzzers remember this little gem.

The only other defunct coaster I've been on was the Zambezi Zinger at WoF. Is this coaster still operating overseas somewhere, or is it gone for good?

Other than that I've only ridden rides that have been moved to other parks, Jet Scream and River King Mine Ride at SFStL. They are now the Viper @SFAW and Big Bad John respectively.

Wildcat at keansburg amusement park in NJ. Only about 20 members have ridden it.

My rare coasters:

Jumbo Jet, CP

Sky Streek, Bob-lo Island

Bavarian Beetle, PKI

Avalanche Run, CP

Screamin' Demon, PKI

LoCoSuMo, IB and Deja Vu, SFGAM--tho it isn't really fair to call them rare, I guess.

The CPlaya 100--6 days, 9 parks, 47 coasters, 2037 miles and a winner.....LoCoSuMo.

Yeah, it was in the Poconos, somewhat near Bushkill Falls. I tried to find the location a few years ago and I'm not sure if I got there or not.

I remember the kiddie coaster being a steel oval that took several laps around. It is entirely possible I'm confusing it with another. My memories of that place are pretty hazy.

I found some old newspaper articles one time about that place. I don't know if I still have them or not.

X, more times than a lot of the others on my list.

How many have had the pleasure of Colossus before it was fixed/reprofiled/castrated? Not me. 8^(

On my list.

Zambezi Zinger (Moved away from WOF)

Extreme Roller (Scream Roller) Sit down (removed from WOF)

Mad Mouse (Dogpatch USA)

Thunder Eagle (Race World) The ride shut down a few weeks after I rode it.

Silly Serpent (WOF) My very 1st coaster scraped.

Zyklon, Fire Storm, and Dragon Wagon (Branson USA) The status of these rides are unknown.

Timber Wolf (WOF) tamed with New Lapbars, Seat Belts, Seat Dividers, and the stupid trim break on the 1st hill

Went to CB 02 but got addicted to The Flying Eagles.
That is the best ride on the planet.

I'd have to say -

Drachenfire, if only because it's gone.

Thunder Eagle, again because it's closed.

Viper at SFoG because it's currently gone.

Rareist-easy, the coaster at Nunley's- Baldwin N.Y.
Well, many German ones I have ridden that are not even listed on this site. A few parks that I've put in are now showing up. Way too many rollercoasters to list though . . . I think I might be the only one to have ridden a bunch of rollercoasters overseas (as well as the States). A bonus was the Olympia Looping Bahn - I wonder how many people rode that? I have also toured 10 different countries in Europe so far and there's bound to be more. This a chance of a lifetime for me. . .

My place

A couple defunct, although not really rare:
Drachen Fire at BGW
Steel Phantom at Kennywood

Rollo Coaster at Idlewild in Ligonier, PA... still operating, but it's not a coaster enthusiast's park so that may make it rare here :) That was my first coaster, actually.
