The Next Clones

What do you think the next clones will be? I think either more Deja Vu's, or Goliaths.

I agree with you on the clones. I would also think Vertical Velocity will become a clone.

"Duff Man Says... Ohhh Yeah!"
Current Favorite Coasters:
1)Raging Bull 2)Millennium Force 3)Medusa (SFMW) 4)Vertical Velocity (SFGAm) 5)Dueling Dragons (Ice)

I think Raging Bull at SFGam will become a big clone for Six Flags and others. I think there is so far one clone of it called Titan at an other SF park.

A lot of people are saying that the new B&M coaster that is going to SFNE next year will become a clone because it's small size with lot's of intensity. I think that SF has lost interest in Boomerangs, SLC's, and B:TR's and is looking for something new to clone.

Oh and MForce Junkie, Titan is not a clone of Raging Bull, it was Goliath. Just wanted to tell you in case you didnt know.

I think that there will be quite a few clones.  Clones are good for business, easier and cheaper to build.  But I think that some clones will be done less than otheres.  Take for instance Twister at Knoelbs, this is a clone from Mr. Twister at the old Elitch Gardens, and it has only been done once and probably only will be done once.  I think this will happen a lot, probably with the Cyclone at Coney Island since it is so famous.  I think whatever rides their are that are small and cheap will be the next clones.  Take for instance the Boomerang, what has happened with that has gotten out of hand.  But it's small and cheap to build.

Oh and CoasterGuy1515 Titan is not a clone. It is an original coaster, It has 1 more helix than Goliath. Just wanted to let you know;):)

Villian will probably be cloned.
-----------------
Okay, Titan is a "Clone with a extra helix"...lol, does anyone know if the Super Invertigo in Spain is going to open? If i were the park, i would send back the peices untill Vekoma fixes the problems.

I agree with CoasterGuy1515.  SFNE's new coaster is short and it fits in a small place, just like B: TR.  It's a newer coaster too being a floorless so it will be an invitation to lots of SF Parks.

SFMM's GIB works just fine.  Twister will be built and will more than likely open with the rest of the park on time.  Now, is Vekoma still able to produce rides thanks to going bankrupt?

V² is alreday a clone of S:UE, so I suppose more of them will pop up sooner or later.

About Villian, Idon't think CCI is in the cloning business.  It's layout is similar to Ghostrider, but not a clone. After all the C in CCI stands for "Custom", ya' know?

"X" marks the spot in 2001!

Vekoma's Flying Dutchman could be cloned to a large extent.
Looking ahead I think the biggest potential clone is the new B&M Flying coaster, if it lives up the hype that is. SF is probably going to be leery of having Vekoma do more work for them with all the problems the Deja Vu Triplets had this year and the capactity of their Dutchmen is *all right* with the dual loading platform layout but still nowhere near any of the B&M Designs to date. B&M's are popular with the GP and Enthusiasts alike, on top of that they have excellent capacity and the company already have a long past history with SF (the chain that's responsible for most cloning) Obviously this isn't going to happen overnight but I could see the B&M Flyers becoming widespread in the next decade.

Good point. Didn't SF clone a wooden a few times?
Off topic: How does SFMM's Psyclone compare to the real Coney Islanf Cyclone?

G.Bush:We will find those who did it, smoke them out of their holes, get them running, and bring them to justice.
I pray that I will never see a Six Flags Conneaut Lake

I think Boomerang... oh, wait... there is something coming... it's already been done.

the georgia scorcher should be cloned ! i wouldnt be surpirsed if this layout shows up again.
CCI takes great pride and tradition on designing its coasters. They want the bast damn architectures and engineers they can find and they are willing to pay alot.
