Its just disappointing seeing Great Adventure get this disgrace. And their calling it a roller coaster, please. If SFGA doesn't get that giant roller coaster in, 2016, I'll be getting passes to Dorney

Because THEY get all the good, new rides.
I'd venture to say that most folks across the country would be well pleased with the giant roller coasters SFGA already has.

Great Adventure has so much to enjoy in terms of coasters. Is it kind of a crummy addition? Sure, but are you seriously saying because one year you get a craptacular addition to the park, you're gonna stop going?

Fine by me. One less person in line for Toro. Bye!

Yea, you guys have a point. For example, if your local park is Valleyfair or something like that who hasn't gotten a good coaster for years, I can see somebody saying that. But if your local park is like Magic Mountain or Cedar Point, you just get coasters year after year, and plz just don't brag.

Yeah, but that belligerent, volleying bald guy will still be there.

I think I can take him, Mike. ;)

He's actually not that bad. He'll move over occasionally.

The manufacturer calls it a roller coaster.

I love the way the industry is rapidly changing with old rides getting new track, or new trains. Rides build with odd combinations of wood and steel. Manufacturers having arguable points for calling what might be a flat ride a roller coaster.

Mostly because it takes the average OCD enthusiast with this bizarre need to categorize and oragnize everything and turns their world on its head.

What is a coaster and what isn't? What kind of coaster is it? Is it a new credit or not.

To sit back and watch the panty bunching makes me smile a little.

K ending this whole topic, lets move on

You joined the discussion kinda late to be the one who decides it's over, Sir (or Ma'am, if that's the case.)

Gotta love the new ones who think its their place to decide what the rest of us say and when.

I'm confused as to why no one has called out the new guy/girl for their grammar.

Sorry, bud. That's not something you're permitted to say. And you have to wait until tomorrow. ;)

Okay so you want me to leave this convo. I understand. But seriously people. It's a free country.

It's not that we want you to leave. It's that we don't want you telling us when to leave.

Edit: I should also mention that this isn't about you. Around here, conversations die natural organic deaths (unless they're closed by a moderator). We don't tell each other when to stop and topics don't belong to anyone.

Yes, it is. Which is why we aren't ending this whole topic, or moving on. Necessarily.

I'm not sure who you are, you haven't introduced yourself, but from what i can tell you've been here less than two days.

You're welcome to join in here, but don't think for a second that because someone challenges your notion that this Super Loops shouldn't be classified as a coaster, or shows you what the manufacturer has stated, means you can call this conversation to halt.
These Six Flags announcements aren't new, so you might imagine the topic's been discussed. As I recall, some others around here hold your opinion and some don't.
As a new person you should probably take the time to flip through old and recent topics to see what the tone is around here. You will always be entitled to your opinion, but everyone else is too.

I am not, nor do I want to be, entitled to Jrrullo's opinion.

Not anymore (thanks, Obama!)

But seriously, what are you, 8?
