A 208 foot vertical lift, I'm guessing its the tallest of it's kind. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Seems to me that it's the ONLY of its kind. The lift is like the Holiday World closed (and dismantled?) water ride. This is for a roller coaster, and not a water ride.

^Wait a second...where did you see that about the lift, Travis?
If in fact the car remains oriented on a horizontal plane while being lifted, then my complaint about the vertical lift mean nothing. I'd say a comparable situation would be LoCoSuMo where the car goes "straight up" - but isn't oriented in the uncomfortable vertical orientation that puts strain on the stomach muscles.
I saw it on the Newsplusnotes blog. It doesn't necessarily meant that it's true though, but I haven't known them to ever be wrong. From reading that, I just thought it must have been in the press release or something. Maybe that is the special feature not yet revealed, and it slipped out to the website somehow?

And after reading the Blog post again, I can't tell you where I read that the lift was going to be like the old Holiday World water ride. Somewhere else, I guess.

Spoke to some people in the know (seriously), and Dorney is getting a new ride for sure, but no idea what it is. Except it is not Mantis. Yay!

I heard it was a fire sale too.

Expect Valleyfair to announce tomorrow its water park expansion for 2015.

Screamscape is reporting a new flat for MA in 2015. It gets better, for 2016, a Chance Hyper GTX. Let's start the wagers for 16!
Sigh...
I think the most over hyped new attraction is at one of the six flags parks. I can't think of the name of it. But it is basically a carnival super loop. They had a similar ride at the allegan fair a couple years ago. Nothing to get excited about. They are also calling it a roller coaster. Really?
I didn't do it! I swear!!
It's actually going into many Six Flags parks. Many people agree with you about that too. I say, whatever floats their boat.

LOL, I was envisioning trying to evac a ride with 8-10 blocks...would take until the next day's park opening to clear all the trains.
I suggest you take a trip to Disneyland. Space Mountain run with 12 trains and on this rule: if for any reason, you can't dispatch fast enough and you end up with more than a 4-5 train back up behind the station, the ride will do an automatic e stop! So, you end up with trains on the 3 lifts and a few in the middle of the ride.
Its just disappointing seeing Great Adventure get this disgrace. And their calling it a roller coaster, please. If SFGA doesn't get that giant roller coaster in, 2016, I'll be getting passes to Dorney
Here is the problem I have with Six Flags announcing every new attraction in the chain in a YouTube video:
1. Someone whose home park is SFGAdv, for example (like the individual above), sees all the major attractions some of the other parks are getting and feels his/her home park has been given the shaft. It's not fair seeing all these other parks hundreds or thousands of miles away getting cool new stuff, all while anticipating the part where his/her home park is featured, only to find out they're getting a crappy ol' Super Loop or whatever.
2. Enthusiasts can be entitled little snots.
Notice I said "the problem" (singular). Yeah, it's one of those.
If (fill in favorite or local park here) doesn't get (fill in some ridiculous coaster request here) then I'm gonna...
