^^In the past, they have had an event during Knott's Solace weekend. Thats as much as I know, as I haven't been to the SFMM event.

There is a Southern California ACE event coming up May 26th.

Thanks! We did a little video too. As far as an opening day I have been told they are "shooting for spring break" which I think this year for the park starts March 18th. I think it's certainly possible the ride could be open by Solace, but that's a little optimistic.
There is still going to be a lot of landscaping that needs to be done after the steel is in place, and it's taken them about 2 weeks to get the lift installed and there's quite a bit left to go!

Winter Coaster Solace is an annual event Knotts holds, typically the first weekend in March. Unfortunately, their website has no info as of yet, but trust me, you WILL hear about it as WCS VII approaches... :)
