Suggestions for "America"

You know what, it's a ride, it's a game, it's not real life will you please stop whining about the ride, nothing blows up the ride just goes through 2 buildings, I see nothing wrong wtih it at all.

Anyways, I say make a Reverse Whoa Belly and theme it to launching to the moon, you could call it something that would have to do with landing on the moon.

Here's a more appropriate idea for a 9/11 based ride:
Still have a flyer going through a city, but have it do helices around the towers and call it something like "Defender"- and, of course, have it painted red, white, and blue. That way, it's like you're protecting the towers, not attacking them!

Though I don't exactly like quoting myself, what do all of you think of this idea for a 9/11 based ride?

Teenage Ninja....to build a ride that glorifies the events of 9/11 would be the equivalent to making the movie Pearl Harbor a comedy. You just can't do it...it would cause too much controversy (look what it's done in this thread). What if someone whose family member was killed in the incident sees the ride? It's just too much too soon. The events of 9/11 are still very fresh and its impact is not yet definite. Needless to say I won't add something like that to my park. Maybe a tribute, but no recreation of the incident.

I've created a side-friction coaster that I call The Great Depression. It is a lot of ups and downs, turns, and some tunnels. The area looks pretty trashy. I've trapped a whole lot of the park guests in that area with free food, no bathrooms, and a lot of park benches, lights, and trash cans. The effect I hope for is a lot of vandalism and trash laying around. I also plan on adding a Roto Drop called Black Tuesday.

I plann on using water for the blue portion of the flag and paths for the red and white portions...once again, I don't have the snow features that comes with LL.

I got one more...

6. BOMB OSAMA!!! (big ride, red white and blue, and something about kicking Osama's @$$!)

YOU THINK YOU KNOW ME...

I think bomb Saddam would be more appropriate. Osama is dead and/or irrelevant. Although the upcoming war (you might never hear that phrase again) might not be right, it is inevitable and is a part of and will be part of our history.

(Begin lie)The war with Saddam will start on January 17th. It's true, Tiresias told me. We should start making the ride now before it's too late.(End lie)

In truth, a ride that involves being a fighter pilot would be a cool adition to your park.

The area that contains the flag is pretty huge.

I decided to add a section of the park in tribute to 9/11. I made the edges of the stripes tattered and look torn. I added two towers and the Pentagon beside the flag where the rest of the flag would be. I don't have the scenery for making raised land look like a building so it looks a little odd.

When you're finished, can you send it to me?

Magnum is Red,
Millenium Force is Blue.
I love Wicked Twister
And Raptor too.

When I get further along, I might ask for people who want me to send it to them. Probably when I'm almost finished, finished, or just lose interest. :)

With RCT2 coming out soon, I bet people won't care about the original game exchanging too much.

America is now posted in the games exchange section. Check it out, see what you think, and post some comments and suggestions. The park isn't close to being finished, but I wanted to get the preliminary park out before the RCT2 rush.

Dude thats pretty disturbing, thats a bit disrespectfull to the thousands that died on 9/11.

Watergate flume ride

CP_Jigga, SFAMNUT9302, et al.:

What if it were created to honor those who died? Nothing wrong with that. People make humor out of bad things to lighten up and move on with their lives, for example, my father and my brother a couple weeks ago got mugged and beaten up really bad. They were concerned yes, but they also made fun of the event, even though it was a very horrible event, and think about it as an experience to prepare themselves for the future. That, in fact, helped them recover much faster than if they were worried, tried to censor out the truth, etc. People need to move on while respecting those who died--9-11 the Ride might as well fully respect people who died. I don't see anything with that which is disrepectful.
