Cedar Point's "big" coaster the Jumbo Jets.

Wasn't it call Shoot the Rapids?
I guess the Jumbo Jet and original Wildcat are old now too.
Remember pre-Iron Dragon the elaborate Western Cruise? The boat ride is a joke now compared to what it used to be. It used to be great, especially for people like non-riding spouses.

I remember my first trip to SFMM. Just out of high school and Viper was the newest, baddest coaster around. I remember how crazy long the line was. The ascent to the peak of the first hill seemed to take hours. The view was astonishing (still is a good view), and the ride left me breathless.
Now,as Dweaver stated, it rarley has any line and people refer to it as a boring arrow multi-looper.
What wasnt at the mountain back then??? Batman:The Ride, Superman:The Escape, Riddlers Revenge, Goliath, Goliath Jr, Canyon Blaster, DejaVu, and X. That was just over 10yrs ago, but makes me feel quite ancient.
Off topic: My favorite band is Queensryche & some of my co-workers have never even HEARD of them. In high-school, you couldnt listen to KUPD for an hour without hearing a Queensryche song (especially JetCity Woman & Silent Lucidity).

The American Eagle opened the day after I graduated out of high school. That was a nice present.. I'll be 40 this year too...(sigh)

What makes me feel old is that I have no clue who most of the new cartoon characters are.
P.S. Anyone remember the Chicago Loop?

Why don't people listen to The Cure anymore?
I liked Avalanche Run outside!
Sesame Street ain't the same since Mr. Hooper died.
I thought Marriott's Great America's Demon was amazing because it reached 60mph.
I remember the Penguins' stanley cup runs like yesterday, but this year's new hires were 5 years old when they won the first one.

Once you pass 21, you just get older. Instead of saying "gee, I'm 23 years old", you say "gee, I'm only 7 years away from 30"
