Stuck on a Coaster?

Have any of you been stuck on a coaster? i have only been stuck once. it was at CP on the Disaster Transport . we were stuck for about 20 min. If you have.. what coaster and how long.

Plenty of times....the best one was in the front seat for X, about to flip over the first drop when the lift stops the train. We were at a very weird position, but it was great! We were also stuck a good 30minutes on Mine Train at SFoT.

Although not a coaster, 15 minutes at the top of Tower of DOom (2nd gen. Intamin Freefall) at SFA...that was weird!

Up until this past season I had never gotten stuck on a coaster.

But that all changed on my first visit to SFMM when I got stuck on Ninja's 2nd lift on it's first train of the day. And it figures the first time I got stuck, I would have to walk up instead of down. Not to mention those Arrow suspended cars were pretty hard to get out of while on the lift.

Also on that trip, I got stuck on the turn around before Xcelerator's station on the final ride of the night and they walked us down from there.

Then on the final day of the season at SFGAm I got stopped on Viper's lift hill for about 10 minutes in the freezing cold and rain. The worst out of the 3.

Well...

- 45 mins (Raptor | Midcourse)
- 30 mins (Magnum | Top Lift)
- 30 mins (B:KF | 1/2 Up Lift)
- 15 mins (X-Flight | Brakes)
- 10 mins (Cedar Creek MR | Top 2nd Lift)

Probably more that I just don't remember...

I have never been stuck on a coaster, but...

during its testing period i got stuck on Mission:Space for about 10 or 15 minutes...glad im not claustrophobic!

wdw splash mountain several times, in several places, occasionally on the same ride...never been walked off tho...

Most of us have been stuck. Who has been evacuated?

I was evacuated from Spash Mountain WDW, Legend, and had to push the car back to the station on Leap the Dips :)

Explain what happend to you on splash mountain. Where where you stuck and did you have to evacuate?

Ok either you people have really bad luck or I'm less of a coaster geek than I thought ...

I've only been stuck once that I can remember - for about 20 seconds on Trailblazer at HP our train was stuck on the brake run as the other train was coming up behind us in the helix. A little hairy, but that was the only time I've ever been stuck.

Been in line during sticks on Dragster and Millie, but even that hasn't been that often.

Does Stacking on Hurler and Top Gun @ PCar count?;)

Never really been stuck. Ever.

Mike...it was July 98 and I was stuck at the crest of the 2nd or 3rd lift/dip, in the midst of the heavy animation parts before the main drop. We were there for about 15 minutes, then cast members unloaded all the boats (about 10 piled behind us) one person at a time and led us out behind the scenes....it was great! I took pics :) We were given front of the line passes so it was very cool!

Thats awesome... As stupid as this sounds I've always wanted to get stuck on a Disney Ride to see the stuff you don't see otherwise. LOL

Only time I remember getting stuck was when I couldn't get the lap bar open on Racer.......

back in 01 I got stuck at the top of wild thing at Valleyfair when a curcit breaker blew.

I was stuck for about 25 minutes once on the brake run of Thunder Road at Carowinds. They wouldn't let us out to walk back into the station and off the ride, despite the fact that we were only 10 feet or so out of the station. It sucked.

I got stuck on XLC at PKD for about 15 minutes. They made us wait then put it in reverse and we got off waited for a few test runs.

I've been stuck twice on rides that I can recall:

First time was on Snow White's Scary Adventures at WDW eons ago. Talk about creepy! The animatronics kept repeating themselves for about 5 mins til the ride started up again. I wish we were walked out of it so I could've had a behind the scenes look.

Then last May I got stuck on the brake run of Legend at HW. We sat there about 10 mins. I believe they temporarily lost power so the brakes kicked in and held us there until power was restored to release the train.

I got stuck on the log ride at SFMM cause some idiot jumped out of a boat.

Also I was on a train that didn't make it over tha top on TTD. That was a awesome ride like no other.

The only incident I can recall(I have a BAD long term memory) is getting stuck on the skybuckets at SFOG when they had a full park Blackout. they had to reel us in by pulling on the cables. then we went and rode the train because it was the only thing open.

Of course on Conestoga at Lake Winnie, it stops at the top for about 15 seconds, and everyone thinks the rid's gotten stuck.:)

The only time I can remember getting "stuck" was on Raptor at Cedar Point. We were stopped on the midcourse brakes for about 15 minutes or so.
