Seriously tho, we've had Sarah Jackson, Kristin Marie, Dawnmarie, Maddie, Prittie Kittie, Natalie (on occasion) and coasterqueenTRN for a while--just to name a few. Now let's see who'll be peeved I forgot 'em.

Well since I wouldn't wanna bust up your mojo 'Playa (or that of those who need contact with girls more than you or I do), I'll fade back into the lurkers ;)
I think you forgot OldCPer and TheRealCP, but now there's CedarPoint82, Alizabeth, etc.
At this rate, before ya know it, ACE will become a well-respected group associated with classy, popular and attractive individuals ... oops, did I say that? ;)
--Brett, who is enjoying enhancing the "mean" factor of Coasterbuzz once again
I hear that granny swings a real mean purse, too.
Or is that a cane? ;)

Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."
See the Theory of Nobody. I think it was in "What has happened to Coasterbuzz" but I could be wrong.
Nobody cares what they have to say because it's either not interesting or everyone's heard it a million times already (or both). Then when someone calls them on it or starts trashing them, they get all defensive and cry to mommy (Like the "New rides and their purpose" thread has magically become the whiner thread that was already closed, courtesy of Dawgbyte, BWFSFA, and RoS).

There seems to be lack of support for the newbies.
I don't think that there is a general lack of respect for newbies. Its just that they're newbies, that's all. You have to keep in mind, there are a lot of people on this site that have been here for a LONG time and they have seen a lot of people come and go throughout the years.
Suppose you go to work for a company and all the employees are five-year veterans. It won't be anything personal, but it will take those people a little while to get used to you and respect you. The same thing happens around here. Its nothing personal, its just the way things go. Make intelligent comments, debate with others without being offensive or arrogant... pretty soon, you'll find that you're the one seeing new people come and go.
Like i said, alot of us have real jobs, real careers, and cant sit on coasterbuzz or the internet 24/7 to find out whether Dragster's cable snapped, Hydra's lift hill topped off, or some support for Great Adventure's rocket coaster arrived to its site.
That's an offensive comment. Some people are in a position where they can spend a lot of time online and keep on top of what's going on at Coasterbuzz. That's not to say that they don't have real jobs. Someone who works at a desk and in front of a computer is no more or less "employed" than someone who drives a truck, builds a house or teaches a classroom full of students.
There are times when I am able to sit at my desk all day with Coasterbuzz minimized, occasionally returning to the site to make a post or two. Other days, I am so busy that I am pretty much gone from the site for days at a time. It all depends on how things are going at my job, which happens to be very real and pays with real money. Like 'Playa said, my paycheck turns into real money and not Monopoly money, so it must be a real job, right?
My boss told me that's what everyone was getting these days :-/
I guess my job (that allows me to post to forums on a lot of occasions) isn't "real" enough.
damn.

Actually it's just made me rude and cynical, especially towards the "please don't hurt me" n00bs.
I propose we place a newbie restriction. You must lurk for one month before you can start posting your own threads. Wouldn't that be amazing? ;)
-Josh
The only problem with that is we'd probably just be delaying the inevitable. They'd even have a month to think up a whole buttload of inane topics to post then whine when they get shot down.
Plus it's a lot more fun to just roast 'em on the way in and see who has the balls to stick around (like that Kyle kid - that kid's awesome)

And Kara, but nobody's seen her in forever. And CPLady (who I think is OldCPer, but I'm not sure).
I just saw Kara when I was at CP. She was working in the fastlane on MF.
-Steve, who's no stalker but just happened to notice her working.
Oddly enough, for the time being anyway, this site is partly my day job. Go figure.

Just because my job of the past 10 years (or Gator's) lets us sit at desks in front of PCs doesn't make them make-believe jobs.
So how does all this spawn from my asking to notify a moderator on the discovery of something offensive? Maybe we should all get drunk or something, like CedarPoint82 says. That sounds like pretty good advice.
